Watermelon Ljubljana by Bike

Seeing Ljubljana by bike with Watermelon Tours was the most relaxing, fun and informative way to do it. We even got a private Tour because we didn‘t have time for the officially offered one. Communication was quick and easy, bikes comfy.

Tevz is a fantastic guide with amazing knowledge of his City and the country he is so proud of! Each stop was well chosen to give an opportunity to listen to stories and take some photos too! Ljubljana is such a beautiful City and Tevz took us all around it and into Tivoli park where we stopped for a drink. I quizzed about the more recent history and Tevz gave insightful and interesting answers which I appreciated as I remember watching it all on the UK news at the time. We did a shorter 2 hour tour as I was a bit delicate from the night before but we left knowing that with Tevz's great guiding and lovely bikes we saw a LOT more of Ljubljana than we would have if we'd have done a walking tour which basically just shows the bits you can see for yourself anyway.HIGHLY recommended! :)

Een boeiende tour door een prachtige stad. De gids reageerde snel op onze vraag. Twee jaar geleden reden we al eens mee en ook vandaag, met drie tieners erbij, was het opnieuw interessant. Je komt heel wat te weten over de stad zonder overladen te worden met veel data en info. Wat de gids vertelde was up to date en de tour gaat meestal door rustige straten en verloopt veilig. Een aanrader!

Great bike tour. Very interesting, guide gave us loads of interesting facts and we covered lots more ground on bikes than we would have walking in the same time, saw lots of city. Easy cycling, vast majority in pedestrian area or cycle paths. Would recommend highly.

Absolutely loved this bike tour of Ljubljana. Tevz - aka Mr T - was chilled out, incredibly knowledgable and kept the pace of the tour achievable for our 13yo daughter. We cycled short distances to stop at key sites for brief chats on the town's history, and it was fun, relaxing and informative. It meant we covered more of the town than we would have if we'd been walking, and we also learned loads. The bikes were also in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great 4 hour tour with Teus. I thought 4 hrs might be too long but the time flew by. We learned a lot about Ljubljana, Slovenia- history, culture, etc. Bikes are comfortable, paths are flat, and the 4 hour tour is a nice mix of city and green space. Highly recommend.
