Great views from many of the rooms. Perfect lakeside location. Decent breakfast included with the rooms. Rooms are as expected in a historic building. Free parking on location.

This review is for Vila Preseren Restaurant. While the restaurant has a fantastic view of Lake Bled the staff are incredibly rude. There are plenty of other places to enjoy a meal or a drink around the lake without surly staff.

I can't believe how abysmal this place was. The so-called cheesecake, or whatever they attempted to pass off as one, seemed older than my grandmother. Super hotel on Bled lake, fabulous location for boat trips, walking or cycling. Stunning scenery. Great breakfast, lovely staff.

The staff here are so genuinely helpful and engaged.The food in the restaurant was nice, well cooked and tasty.The room we had was big enough and overlooked the car park not in a bad way.It was clean and comfortable. The air con was noisy and without it the room felt hot.It deserves the 4 stars.

We visited the restaurant for dinner. The location is fabulous! The food was good. We had pesto pasta and grilled veggies. Both were v good. The tomato soup was v good. Would recommend.

Stood in front of the restaurant for 10min, plenty of seats and tables available , and we were waiting to be seated as instructed on the sign, at least 5 waiters walked by( not serving anyone or bringing food or anything), just ignoring usFinally we approached one of the waiter and asked if they have any seat for us, his attitude was very impolite and impatient, and we decided to leave and find another dinner place instead. We were too polite by not questioning if they are racist, srsly, how can all of your waiters just ignore any customer when we’ve been standing there for so long and was patiently waiting at the non existing queue

We ordered the fish plate for 2. It was quite good. Didn’t like that we had to pay for the tap water though.I had a look around and I saw the burgers and they looked massive as well.

Vila Prešeren Bled
We just returned from a three night stay in beautiful Lake Bled. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It’s a hidden gem! The room, the location, the food and service were all perfect. I would have given 5 stars across the board, except we were given the impression that we had booked the room with the balcony that overlooks the lake, but that was not the case. We had a room with a balcony, but it had an obstructed and rather unsightly view of a rooftop, and we were quite disappointed. The management apologized, but at that point there was nothing they could do. I advise all future guests wanting a view of the lake, to be sure they have booked the room on the top floor. That being said we would surely return to Villa Preseren.
