Strange experience. I booked my car and in office realised that they can took only my credit card, not my wife. Ok, it s my problem. But the guy from Buget wasn't very polite and said that there is no possibility for me take a car in Ljubljana at all with my debit card. Just in 200 metres I taked car in another company and deposit was 200 Euro instead of 600 in Budget. I don't like how they stuff treated me.

Great price with friendly service!! I shopped around on the internet and found the best Ljubljana rent a car deal here at Budget. The guy behind the counter was also really helpful and funny which gave me a really nice feel for this place. See you at my next visit to Ljubljana in 2012!

Very good car renting experienceThe staff was very friendly and spoke English very well; their terms and conditions are very clear and they don't try to 'steal' your money on hidden fees, unlike many other rental companies.The car was very clean and almost new.What I particularly appreciated is that if you're at least 20 years old and you hold a driving licence for more than 2 years, they don't charge you with any 'young driver surcharge'.

Excellent and honest service from professional staff. Located behind the Grand Union Hotel in central Ljubljana. I think because they cater to a more business orientated crowd, their standards are higher than say the airport, or other independent car agencies. They had the best price too, of the several places I checked. Because their hours are daytime only, we used the key drop service in the evening, so I had to trust their final inspection". No worries though

Crack in windshield was already present when we got the car but when we delivered the car , they told us that the crack was our fault and that we had to pay for it. They should check the car better before renting it to the next person. Now we have to pay for something that isn’t our fault.I would have had no problem paying for it if it was indeed my fault ( i also have insurance), but the crack was already there when we rent the car.
