Terrific little place. The food is excellent the and the service is kind, attentive, and unpretentiously adjust to any dietary restrictions /preferences.The flow of service is very unique, with just one waiter taking orders and acting as sommelier, while the rest of the team bring the food, so that you are always looked after.The view is excellent as well. A++

Restaurant Triglav Bohinj
A bit more upscale than the typical Slovenian restaurant and very good food. They have a menu to choose from with a set price (24 euros for 2 course or 28 for 3 courses excluding drinks) they make their own fresh pasta and also make their own beer. Prices are slightly higher than what you would normally pay but the quality, venue, atmosphere and service make it worth while. The place also has rooms where you can stay overnight or longer. Also found out that the venue can be booked for events and that the dinner service has a set menu with optional wine pairing as well. They have a sommelier as well for providing suggestions (all Slovenian wines of course). Definitely recommend coming here if you are visiting lake bohinj for lunch (around a 10min walk from the lake) if you feel like something a bit more upscale than what they have to offer at the restaurant by the lake.

Totally wonderful setting, staff, food and view across the wild flower meadow to Lake Bohinj - perfect! And the chef came out and told us about all the food in detail and was amazing service. And amazing local wine sold by the glass only.Only thing I would ask is please don’t mow the meadow! It’s beautiful!! (And it’s wildflower festival at the moment!!).

The best restaurant we've visited in Slovenia!Not only the food was perfect, the service was the best I've ever had in my life. The waiter guy was the coolest and calmest waiter I've ever seen.He paid attention to us, answered our questions without a sign of impatience and introduced the courses before serving.But most of all, he was a relaxing and fun guy to talk to! I especially liked the chocolate mousse, and I told him that I often make mousse at home, but it never turned out as good as their mousse. In 3 minutes this guy comes back with a detailed recipe and shares it with me, I couldn't even believe it :)When we were there they had the lunch menu which consisted only a few items, but I always prefer places that make less dishes but at higher quality.So in just a few minutes we were served a fantastic chicken and a super steak as main dishes, followed by the chocolate mousse of my life.If we go back to Lake Bohinj, we'll surely drop in once again!Thank you Triglav restaurant and give our greetings to the waiter - the couple from Budapest on a rainy Monday in September ;)

We had an amazing dinner tonight. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is located in magical spot.Many thanks to sommelier Damir and his colleague who did outstanding job.

Delicious food, customer care and kid friendly!A big plus, because even it was a 4 dishes menu, standard, they offered us pasta for our kid! Mom and dad could enjoy some tasty and delicious food and kid was very happy to get pasta. They really pay attention to details. The pasta were suitable for kid, mini pene, not spaghetti or something which it is not very easy to be handle by small kids!The food was very tasty and we really enjoyed the wines recommended.It was a perfect dinner!

Amazing dinner!We had a family dinner of 5 courses at 50€ per person (wine excluded).Everything was perfect; the service, the amazing food (we had meat and fish), the ambient, the feeling.The only disappointment was the red wine, local, which tasted too sour.
