Very good Monkey 47 gin & tonic!

Wij hebben hier overdag op het terras gezeten, waar ze prima stoelen & cocktails hadden. Ze hebben lekkere panini's, deze zijn echter wel gewoon opgewarmd. Leuke locatie op de boulevard. De club zelf zit ondergronds en is enorm groot. Hoe het daar verder is weten we niet.

Considerando gli alti costi dei parcheggi, per il pranzo abbiamo optato per un panino al volo. Panini confezionati della linea crocodille, qualità non altissima (più che altro il ripieno è veramente scarso) ma comunque gustosi al palato. Se siete dei gran mangiatori forse uno risulterà un po' scarso.Accetta il bancomat!

Great scenery, spacious place, but food is mediocre at least and service is rather indifferent, or at least it was when we visited. This was a weekday in the middle of the afternoon, with hardly any other customers around. Interestingly, they offer a takeaway service for some sweet treats on their menu. Nevertheless, the prices are the same with what you would be paying if you would eat them there and they would not give you a plastic fork or spoon to eat it. This makes eating the famous Bled cream cake quite messy!

We came here to try the famous bled cake and get a couple of drinks. We ordered rather quickly and we received our cake and drinks not long after. The cake was decent, however, the raspberry daiquiri I ordered and lime daiquiri my boyfriend ordered were not very pleasant. The ratio of liquor to the other ingredients was not right, making them way too strong and unpleasant to drink. Once we finished and wanted to pay, it took ages to get the attention of the waiter, who was occupied with chatting, flirting and drinking with a group of girls at a table. Once we finally got his attention, he abruptly asked if we would like to pay by cash, making us assume that was the only payment option. Being tourists new to Europe, you don’t realise that you don’t know how much your bill is until they give you printed docket right before you pay. We thought we had enough cash, but once we saw the docket we actually didn’t. So my boyfriend asked if are were by chance able to pay by card because we don’t have enough physical cash. The the waiter rudely responded “this is why I asked you cash because I now have to go back and get the machine and reprint the docket”, which was only about 10 steps away from our table. Overall, we were having a decent enough time until this happened.

Good vibes on the open terrace, music is good and lots of choice in drink and food.Kind friendly bartenders also.

The waiter was super friendly but served me a beer with alcohol instead of a non-alcoholic beer. I’m sure this happened by accident and the waiter apologized, but that’s something that doesn’t work for me. So only a 2-star rating in hopes that the waiters in this place will keep an eye on that.
