Excellent Emergency repair of a broken intake manifold of a V6 Land Rover Discovery 4.On our way to Montenegro the engine went into reduced performance mode, and we were about to cancel the trip.I could convince the owner of the Garage to try an emergency repair by welding the broken plastic manifold in order to have at least a temporary fix and a bit more power.He asked me to come the next day and did a great job in less than 2 hours. The plastic welding was inforced with hot staples and he made a custom metal cover to further strengthen the welded area.After the repair we could continue our trip as planned with no limitations, the car pulled our caravan up to Durmitor National Park in Montenegro and into Valbona Valley in Albania.The temporary fix" has lasted more than 4000km since then.The price was more than fair !"
