Best Tour of my life .We decided to have a private day tour of Lake Bled and Lubjiana from our hotel in Trieste on Feb 23rd 2019 . Our guide Leon arrived on time at the hotel for a prompt pick up . The day was cold but sunny , we not only won the weather lottery for a perfect day out but a jackpot in terms of having Leon as our tour guide . He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job and a proud Slovenian. He kept telling us about Slovenia and first took a detour from the tour and took us to a hidden gem in form of a waterfall near Lake Bled . There we discovered he is a man of many talent ( Cop , lifeguard etc,) but have a keen eye for photography . Our next stop was a castle overlooking Lake Bled . Both waterfall and castle were not on the itinerary but Leon wanted us to have a full glimpse of his country . Lake Bled was breathtaking so was cream strawberry dessert there which he recommended. We drove to Lubjiana but it was like any other city , sensing our mood Leon quickly took a detour and decided to show us the costal riveria of Slovenia and on the way we went to Isola , Portorosso and Piran , stopping enroute for photo opportunity at some of the breathtaking locations . In Piran we had a lovely seafood meal on the seafront . Later we came to know that in his duty to please and show us all the spots in Piran he got a parking ticket at Piran . The parking ticket did upset him for few minutes but he wiped that off quickly and took us to a fantastic ice cream shop in the Portorosso after the meal .The grand finale was Leon then presented us with a Olive oil bottle from his home before dropping us at our hotel in Trieste . The tour itinerary was for 7 hours but Leon gave us 10 hrs tour , showing his country and being very proud of its heritage and what it has to offer , the best of which was the friendliness of Leon . What a fine ambassador for his company and country . Throughout my travels of 27 plus years and visiting circa 96 countries , this was easily the best tour of my life . Thank you Koper trips for sending Leon as our guide and thank you my friend Leon for so beautifully showing your country in a day . I wish all the tour guides are like you !!

Tour guide Aleksandra is the best!My boyfriend and I took the day trip from Trieste to Skocjan Caves and Lipica Stud Farm. What we noticed first was the excellent customer service provided by Koper. Our drive and tour guide Aleksandra email me personally to discuss pick up arrangements. It work flawlessly. She pick us up in front of our hotel at exactly 0900. She may have even been there 5-10 minutes early. In Trieste it can be difficult to arrive places on time and we have had some bad experiences with that before, but with Aleksandra we did not have to worry one bit.The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. The drive to Skocjan caves was not very long, maybe 30-40 min but the entire way there Aleksandra was providing us with the history of Slovenia and Trieste. She was incredibly knowledgeable on multiple different topics. Her English was also very very good! When we arrived at the cave my boyfriend went to get a coffee and Aleksandra accompanied him and explained a type of Slovenian drink that he may be interested in. It was like this everywhere we went and it was very fun. She consistently provided us with the opportunity to try new Slovenian things.Skocjan cave.... well what can I say? The pictures you see on the internet do it no justice. That was the most amazing cave I have ever had the pleasure of touring. Just absolutely incredible.Lipica Stud Farm was also very beautiful. My boyfriend loves horses so I think he enjoyed it more than I did. Aleksandra, while driving to the farm provided us with some uncommon history notes about the horses and the farm itself. Just those little tidbits of information that make everything more fun.Once we were done with both tours we were super hungry. Once again, Aleksandra went above and beyond. She found us a small local restaurant that served traditional Slovenian food. I have to say, if Aleksandra says you should try something, then you should definitely try it.Overall, the tours were amazing and I would with out question love to tour some more places with Aleksandra. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to travel with this company.

Very friendly and helpful driver with a new very clean car. Dates and prices were agreed in advance via email. I would highly recommend this transfer service to any cruise ship guest who wants to privately book a tour or transfer.We booked a transfer from Venice Marco Polo airport to Trieste for a reasonable price.

We enjoyed a day touring Istria with Koper Trips. Dejan Godec provides a perfect experience that's fun and educational. We feel like we know more about the area and had a wonderful time enjoying the sights and flavors.We highly recommend Koper Trips for a first class tour.

Wish I knew them before planning my tour to Trieste. I took a wonderful tour with them from Trieste to Grotte di Postumia and Castello di Predjama. We had a pickup, tickets, guidance all the way to these places. I rarely take group tours, but in this one I felt like it was an individual. Great service and knowledge. Thanks to the owner.

Terrible experience, not communication and really unorganized, take us to totally different tour, and they tell us when we reach the a point 1hr and 20 away, we ask 4 times in the morning to the organizer, (was the owner )and tell us we are on the right bus, end up we are 3 group of people everyone’s was on a different tour they book and put us all at same bus , take on a total of 8 hours driving ,we have 3 stops, each stop was less than 15 minutes stop all the rest of the time was waste of time driving into the mountains, “the food and wine taste experience “horrible it’s not like said on the description at all, we contact the owner the one received us at the morning and tell us was no time to make the tour we book, we talk to his son and the tours guy he didn’t even khow about all the changes, he said he will be at the port at the drop off time and never stop by, by far terrible experience
