Tavas Hostel

Nice place in the heart of the town. Stayed here for 12 days and almost felt like home by the end. Shopping malls and all famous places are at a walking distance. There's a kitchen where you can cook for yourself and cleanliness in entire hostel is top notch. Communication with host was nice, perhaps one of the very few places where you can connect over WhatsApp as well. Recommended for short and long stay!

New owner who has no idea what hes doing.When I arrived, there was no one at reception so I contacted him. He said there would be someone here at 9pm but i still had to wait until 10pm because no one came.

Its okIts Clean, Good location and walking distance to most of the sightseeings.Though, its Too expensive for the facilities and space provided... No complimentary coffee or tea...

Bed bugs! Hazard! Lots of bed bugs!

BED BUGS!The hostel itself is nice. cool atmosphere nice location and everything else you may need. We stayed for two nights but were forced to leave because we got bitten so horribly. At night you could see them crawling around the room, on the mattress, on the walls. We decided to leave that night.The owner who knew about the problem told us we would get half of the money back. This we still haven´t received after 3 weeks. They don´t answer to text messages or calls. After all, this is the last place I´d recommend in Maribor!

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at in Europe. It feels super homely and the staff are really hospitable. One of the guys even drove us for free to the slopes!Each morning we got an awesome breakfast cooked for us, with eggs, toast, fruits, coffee and juice. The rooms are really nice as well, stayed in the 3 bedroom family room and it was super clean and comfy. Bathrooms are clean, showers are good with hot water.Its in a really central location, close to both the Castle Square and Main Square, as well as the riverside. Good restaurants, bars and also supermarkets are all within 5 minute walking distance.Incredibly good value for money.

Hi! Me and my swedish friends stayed at this awesome place for one week. It is super cozy, both inside and outside, and is located on a really nice street. Lots of good restaurants nearby and the river!Not to mention the staff at this place, they made our trip out of the ordinary. They are so helpful, so nice and generous. They wont stop for anything if they can be nice and give you a good advice about life or the city! I will definitely not forget this place or the awesome staff! Thank you! Sends a lot of hugs from the swedish bikers!

Worst hostel I ever stayed. No reception or staff, no keys for the lockers, had to search for my own bedlinen, washer and dryer were in use by the owner, who would come by at 11pm to do the check-in, but had already left when I arrived back from dinner at 10:30.
