Batic Winery

Although we arrived unannounced (you should call first!), we were greeted by the friendly owners who offered us a wine tasting in their home, and a visit to the cellars to buy wine. Batič is one of the best Slovenian wine producers and can be found in some of the best bars and restaurants in the country. Their merlot is in my list of favourite wines, but now I have a bottle of each of their wines, maybe I will add more :)

We had an amazing time at Batic winery. We showed up and were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady who prepared for us a great wine tasting. We loved the wines, the food and the homely atmosphere of the place. Leaving empty handed was impossible. We are looking forward to visit again in the future.

Era una delle tante bottiglie, che avevamo io ed un mio amico,avevamo acquistato tanti anni fa. Vino incredibile buonissimo fantastico. Grazie per questa meraviglia.

Svetovna vina, gostoljubni ljudje, postregli so nama res z okusno pojedino, zraven smo pili njihova vina. Vesel da sva končno dobila težko pričakovan vinjak Oskar!Hvala še enkrat za vse!!!

We were hosted by grandma and granddaughter, and it was amazing!! They took care of us really well, and their wines are seriously good. The price/quality ratio is amazing, and we will definitely come back. Looking forward to seeing their new rooms hopefully within the next 1-2 years. Thanks again, so much!!!

Ho scoperto un posto molto cordiale e semplice nella quotidianità di tutti i giorni, in una cantina nata nel circolo della biodinamicita', il miglior passito di sempre lo ho scoperto proprio in questa cantina, la signora gentilissima ed ospitale ci ha fatto accomodare in casa sua, anche se parlava poco l italiano, ci siamo capiti benissimo, ci ha offerto del buon cibo da accompagnare gli assaggi dei vini e dove ho selezionato per il mio gusto un Buon bianco fermo ed un ottimo passito.Grazie per l 'ospitalità e l 'accoglienza.

Druzina Batic, se enkrat se vam zahvaljujemo za cudovit, prijazen sprejem, tako veliki ste, a tako skromni in preprosti. Knjiga, ki smo jo prejeli v dar pa se te dotakne v dusi. Bilo je prelepo in na se kdaj! Pozdrav iz Maribora!
