Sup-kanu club Vrhnika

Place at the river where you can rent a sup or kano. You need to call in advance to agree/reserve on a specific start-time.You can park at the parking lot next to the sport complex. The owner will then come to you at the agreed time and walk with you a short distance to the river bank.We rented a sup for an hour and it was a nice experience on the water. Very tranquil and a beautiful piece of river, which was super cold even in august. The water is clear as well, so you can see the bottom with all the plants and fishies that dart away under you.Hire prices are reasonable with not much difference between kano or sup board.Beware of the swan family that lives on the piece of river, we were told that they could be dangerous and we didn't dare to pass them :p

There isn’t a website to book through, we managed to contact the club via Facebook. Sascha was a very responsive and welcoming. We were able to book for 2 hours of paddle boarding along the river.It is very beautiful and stunning area. Relaxing and secluded. You don’t have to be a confident paddle boarder as you can kneel instead of standing. Recommend bringing a few beers to moor up and have a drink.The club offered us waterproof cases for our phones and drawstring bags for our belongings. You can leave you change of clothes etc at the hut on the bank.
