Cool House Vič
The food was great. Really loved the duck pâté, cheese and steak. Also loved the red wine. It was expensive at 40€ per bottle, but very good.Service is pretty poor. No waiter in sight when you need one, a bit too casual for this price point. We were regularly without enough to drink. Brought only some of the deserts and then the remainder 15 minutes later, which is very unprofessional.

Food is fine, but nothing extraordinary.It looks good, but it tasted all the same. The atmosphere is nice and the service is great.I may come again in future and hopefully will change my rating.

Came here for birthday dinner. We had octopus salad, greek pan and pan with beef. Well, food was okay, service could be a better since the place wasn’t packed and there was enough waiters. We wanted soufle for dessert, but they said that they don’t have it anymore. As if that wasn’t dissapointing enough, it seemed like waiter really wanted to rub it in, with saying “yeah it was really great, some peachy flavour, but it’s gone for today”. I assumed since this is on regular menu, that soufle is avalible anytime, but guess not :)

Prijeten ambient in odlična ponudba jedi. Po obroku priporočam obisk trgovine v zgornjem nadstropju objekta, kjer vas pričakajo nadvse zanimivi prehrambeni artikli.

Ok … so I’ve never done this before. Read on for info!We found this place by looking at the review images and being intrigued by this dish capped with bread that looked amazing.The prior night we’d had dinner at a place where the waiter was really rude, sat behind the bar drinking, and made it clear he’d wanted to go home early and we were a nuisance.Flash forward to next night and dinner at the Cool House. Live music is playing outside, we’ve missed lunch so we are hungry, and we get seated.The staff was SO nice. They were very busy and still took the time to offer suggestions, ideas for things to see or do locally etc.#1 finding an IPA beer in Slovenia is not an easy thing to do (guess what, they have a local IPA and Pale Ale beer option here!!)Then the food came and it tasted fantastic, full of flavor, everyone was so happy.Our server was Masha, we seriously all wanted to adopt her the sweetest person, really adorable.So the next day we explore Lake Bled, we are looking at other eating options on our return drive to Ljubljana… here’s the thing I never do or have done prior… we went back again!! We had such a great experience we all agreed we didn’t want to miss out on the option for a second amazing meal.I got the steak salad this time, the steak is thinly cut in ribbons and warmed (yum yum yum). We updated Masha on our day, the experience felt like family :)Thanks for sticking through with this long review but we just had the best time!Oh also the live music is only occasionally, just to set reasonable expectations!Go go go here and enjoy!

Good service, was very quick and he checked in several times. From the reviews and food pictures online, I was really expecting something special… Ended up having the sea bream fish fillet, it came with baby carrots that tasted like they barely been steamed out of a bag or something, totally tasteless. Could have been really good but just wasn’t. And not a cheap place either.

Super ambient, super hrana in izvrstna postrežba! Posebna opomba gre dodat pa za hišno rdeče vino - kljub imenu “hišno”, je top! Ni pripomb in se še vrnemo!PS: top PISE!
