We went there as it was recommended on a walking tour and we were not disappointed. We thought it might be closing time but Matthias was very happy to let us try a wide variety of products which were all delicious. The olive oils in particular are great and unlike anything we have, at least in the UK! The local wine we tried was way better than anything we had in the local bars or restaurants. We also had a really nice chat with Matthias and learnt loads about Slovenia. If you are in Piran you need to visit this place.

This shop is always worth a visit!My tour guide recommended going to this shop for good olive oil from Istria. Mattia, the shop owner (he's younger than you would probably expect) is very knowledgeable about his products and gave me all kinds of olive oils and wines to try. It was super interesting and fun, and while Mattia is very entertaining, he never pushes you to buy something. And of course, the products are all really high quality and much tastier than in the restaurants.Thanks Mattia, for the great time and all the best :)

Awesome little shop near the old fountain. They have a bunch of local wines, olive oils, truffles, and chocolates which they very generously allow you to sample. The prices are also very reasonable, we were actually pleasantly shocked. Mattia was an incredible host as well, very friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the products. This is a must visit in Piran, don’t miss it!

Our visit of the local shop was great as usual, we visit this place annualy. The owner is very friendly, helpful and willing to answer all your concerns. The offered products are great (you can try everything before purchasing) and we always bring olive oil, wine etc. back home to Slovakia. Thank you. G + M + R + D

Stumbled across this little gem and thank god we did. The owner offered us to try some samples which were amazing. He really does know his stuff and was very helpful. We bought a little truffle spread which was delicious. Would highly recommend checking out if you like truffle, olive oil or wine.

13/10! This shop was highly recommended by our walking tour guide of Piran or else we would have missed it. The shop owner is highly knowledgeable, talked us through our sampling (8 olive oils, 3 truffle products, and 3 different wines), and this was a kind gesture for a drop by rather than a scheduled tasting. If you're going to Piran, it's worth stopping there just on its own for local products and award winning blends.

Great place with local wines, olive oils, chocolate, truffels, spirits, etc. The best thing is a nice chat with owner and you can taste almost everything before buying it. We spent almost 30 minutes there and get a lot of informations regarding local wines and olive oil. The olive oil flavoured with oranges is a crazy thing, you have to try it. Payment only via cash, but it's definitely worth it to get € from ATM and visit this store!

Great place to shop some local wine and olive oils. The owner is very friendly and would explain the different kinds of products that you would like to taste. Prices are reasonable and you don’t feel pressured into buying something here if they are not to your liking. Worth a visit!
