Hiking Slovenian Alps

We undertook a four day hike through the Julian Alps organised by Hiking Slovenian Alps. The route was well planned and the scenery absolutely stunning. We were also very pleased with the mountain huts which Hiking Slovenian Alps organised for us along the way.

We worked with Borut to plan our multi-day hike in June 2019. We loved the hike! The agenda was great and it was very helpful to have a plan from someone who knows the routes and huts. We ran into some other people who were planning to use mountain huts that were not yet open even though a website listed a June opening. There had been a late snow in 2019 and having someone local who knew the trails and huts was really helpful. Borut tailored the plan to our fitness/skill level and provided routes that I could upload to my GPS to ensure we were on track. I've planned multi day hikes all across the US on my own but really appreciated the help on this one. Great value for the money spent.
