Hotel Marina

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. From the moment you walk in you are treated like family and feel welcomed, cared for, and home. We interacted with over 7 staff from the front desk and restaurant and they all went above and beyond, thank you. The food at the restaurant is pretty spectacular too.

We only had dinner here but it was very nice. Great fish! I am a vegetarian and even though there are no dishes on the menu they have options. I had a lovely ravioli with truffle. Highly recommend

Amazing food, big portions for some foods, smaller for others. Great service and staff.

Service was absolutely great! We arrived with 14 persons and the women at the reception helped us with all our activities in town. Diner is also realy good.

A nice hotel being very well located in Izola. The hotel service is super friendly and the hotel staff cares a lot about the customers. Nice breakfast buffet with very friendly service. (My assessment of the restaurant service for dinner is slightly different - see restaurant review - unfortunately not so very positive). We had a nice room although a bit dark (nonetheless, not surprisingly in a downtown area) and a bit noisy at night (due to all the electric devices incl. air-conditioning) (This is not a criticism as we all enjoy chilled rooms). I recommend bringing ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. All in all, I recommend this hotel for a stay in Izola.

Perfect location! We managed to park next to the hotel (12euro per day). Most welcoming staff, helped us out to accommodate and offered great spa. SPA is a unique experience, private sauna, jacuzzi, great bed to relax along with fresh food and bottle of champagne. Highly recommended to relax there! Fabulous restaurant with nice selection of food with Michelin recommendations! Special thanks to reception staff for making our stay unforgettable!

Really good restaurant with okayish service. The food was pretty much perfect but the service a bit rushed. They didn't even ask us if we wanted an aperitif. They speak english, german and probably even more languages which is kinda cool.The combination of tile floor and the usage of this little dining cars lead to a lot of noise inside the restaurant which is a bit unasked for.

Was in the restaurant. Supposed to be upscale but the octopus was worst then KFC chicken. The dishes in overall was good, but if one part you are waiting is so bad it’s basically not possible to eat then the experience is going Dow - and this suppose to be upscale place.Stuff is very nice and helpful. Everything else was really fine. But would not come back for another Doner for that price and quality. Sorry, but stop selling KFC chicken “octopus” it’s just ridiculous.
