Most beautiful meal in my life!! So glad I chose this restaurant to celebrate my honeymoon. Both food and service were so impeccable, we didn’t even realise that 4 hours have passed by until the meal ended. The main highlight for us were the drinks; my partner had the non alcoholic pairing while I got “Our Story”. The drinks were absolutely exquisite, I got to try many different alcohols from Slovenia and the region, and my partner’s menu consisted of delicious drinks brewed in the restaurant (none of the boring teas and juices we were expecting at all!). At the end of the meal, the staff surprised us with an entire brioche bread to take away, because we gushed over it so much earlier. Then they brought us to the connecting hotel lounge so that we could comfortably wait for the taxi (which they helped us call). All in all, a perfect night in a perfect location and I would give it a hundred stars if I could ❤️

A must have in Slovenia. Don’t miss it before the restaurant gets its well-deserved Michelin stars! It impressed us with innovative creation using regional ingredients and its extreme caring of every little detail. The chef managed to build different layers of tastes and reinvented traditions through his talented skills, way beyond expectation. The personal touch and storytelling made our lunch a very unique experience, not to mention the scenic view right out of the window. In addition, the service is already at Michelin-level, which followed a rigorous procedure and delivered a heart-warming feeling.

An amazing taste experience at this 2 Michelin-starred restaurant. Perhaps the best Michelin restaurant in Slovenia. High-level service, 16 courses in the tasting menu, and 8 on the cocktail menu. We spent 5 hours on dinner and it was fantastic.

One of the best meals and dining experiences I have ever had in my life, period.The impeccable food, extraordinary hospitality, intimate kindness, presence, passion, integrity, friendliness, relaxed atmosphere, playfulness, and *connection* with the surrounding land all put Milka leagues above most other restaurants out there. Really. Those who are meant to come here will come here.Unforgettable night. I dined solo, but certainly didn't feel alone! Thank you to everyone who made this experience whole—everyone who works at and with Milka. You are all incredible, and I wish you the best in health and joy!

Best restaurant for us in a very long time, what surprise we ran into this. This will soon be one of Slovenia's highly awarded restaurants and a favorite in the established restaurant guides.Everything was just amazing and the wines were very interesting and matched perfectly with the dishes.If you are ever in the region (or Slovenia) you must go here and have an incredible experience!

We had a great dinner experience here while in Slovenia! It was really more of an event since we were there for about 4 hours! We chose the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was fantastic. It ends up being more than 7 courses with all the extra nibbles and bread! We really liked the focus on local food. Our wine was also all Slovenian. The service was impecable and your every need is taken care of. The view from the balcony was also beautiful at sunset. It is definitely a splurge, but worth the experience. You'll be offered extra drinks, like sparkling wine to start and digestifs at the end which are not included in the menu but charged at a reasonable price. We generally love long meals although this one did go on a little bit long. We were ready for bed by the end, but we left full and happy.
