Babu's Asian Street Food
Unlike other reviewers, I don’t think this is the best pad thai outside Bangkok, however the prawn version I had was delicious and had a good balance of sauce, veggies, noodles and peanuts. The sauce was on the slightly too sweet side and I do wish there were just a few more prawns. Given the very limited number of good Asian food options in Ljubljana, this is a great option if you are looking for some Thai food and five stars :)

Hole in the wall and a gem of a find!When we arrived around noon on a Tuesday, unfortunately Babu was out of both the Panang Curry and the Cashew Chicken -- but it was a blessing in disguise, bc we then ordered the best Pad Thai that I've had in months.Babu was also very friendly and prepared the dish promptlyWould definitely return

Babu was really nice. We went there based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. He has such a nice character and really pours his heart out into his cooking. Tasted amazing.

1st Visited date on 10th May 2023 at Ljubljana,Slovenia.The boss named Mr Babu and also the chef, can said 1 man show, because only take away at this very small shopFood decent, and he will according to your taste to fry the noodles.Generous serving of vegetables when I said more vegetables..Very friendly and enthusiastic boss cum chef!Taste wise given 5* for both noodles and green curry.This shop, you cannot miss it !

Finally we had a chance to try hot Asian food in center. 3 dishes: Desi is top, Pad Thai on of best in Ljubljana, fried rice tasty but not up to first two. Overall GO and try!

I'm the 400th review. The owner deserves keeping his 5.0 rating. Lovely, friendly owner and he knows asian cooking, and he also invents stuff! Spicy food is really outstanding and authentic.Note: seems there's often a queue, like 20-30min. Call in and place the order before heading, so that you can save waiting time.

Babu is amazing! The food is great. A group of us ordered one thing on the menu. The pad see ew was delicious and very spicy and filled with cabbage which I loved. The other dish that was a hit was the desi dish which was flavorful. The fried rice and was not as flavorful and could use a bit more spice or salt.

Halal Meat and extremely nice owner. Its a small shop on the road. Unique flavours. Its chicken and vegetables options sold out quickly so don’t go too late.

Shop did not look like much but im glad i stopped by for a takeaway. Babu really shows his love for his customers and not just a tagline of “made with love”. Very friendly guy and the food was good. You can also listen to stories while waiting for your food. This is “the place”. Go go go! Keep up the good work Babu

Unfortunately my veggie Pad Thai wasn’t so good. The 70% of veggies was just an onion and the noodles were more like some Italian way macaronis floating in some sauce. The portion size was decent.
