RockVelo Cycling Tours & e Bike rental Vipava Valley

Me and my boyfirend decided to take E-bikes from RockVelo to explore Vipava valley from a different perspective as we both live nearby. Aleksej suggested the Long MTB tour which offered biking near Vipava river, beautiful views across Vipava valley and nice desolate roads through the forests and vineyards. Aleksej was a very nice host and the bikes were also in perfect condition. We will definitly see you again!

We stopped by RockVelo late in the afternoon and Alex was so kind and accommodating in getting us e-bikes at the last minute. We were quickly able to download the Komoot app where Alex has multiple routes in the Vipava valley loaded for easy navigation. We had the most wonderful afternoon biking around the vineyards and beautiful villages. The route had minimal traffic and we loved how peaceful it was. We have been biking in Napa and this area was so much more beautiful and less travelled. We hope to come back to this part of Slovenia so that we can cycle here again and would definitely use RockVelo for bike rental again.

Alex and Miha couldn't do enough to make our biking trip so memorable. Assistance with route planning, recommendations on locations to visit, and back up support was fantastic. Slovenia was amazing, the car drivers so considerate towards cyslists, and the roads silky smooth. Alex and Miha were so friendly and welcoming, just like everyone we met in Slovenia.If you are renting road bikes, do not hesitate to choose Rockvelo.We shall return to explore more of this cycling paradise.

We hired bikes for two days delivered to our accommodation. From beginning to end everything about dealing with Alex and Rockvelo was first class. The tour through vineyards recommended to us was exhilarating and beautiful. The restaurant recommended was also excellent. Added a wonderful dimension to our holiday. I had a really great experience with Aleksej and his Rockvelo team. He is a great guide and makes everything for you to feel comfortable on your bike. This tour certainly was something special to me - with lots of small surprises which I will remember for the rest of my life.

Vaša kolesa sva si danes izposodila v Ošteriji (Branik) in doživela krasno popoldansko izkušnjo z malo elektrike po bližnjih vrhovih Branika. Odlična, varna in enostavna kolesa. Tnx. B&J

Oba z mozem sva si sposodila e bike. Z izposojo sva bila izredno zadovoljna, kolesa brezhibna, zakonski par, ki jih je izposojal, pa izredno prijazen in ustrezljiv. Vzela sta si cas (sigurno vec kot pol ure), da sta razlozila in naju usmerila, katere poti so najlepse in kateri kraji zares vredni ogleda. In, kar je najvaznejse, še kako sta imela prav (Goče, Vipavski križ.,…). Malo sva zavila še “off road”, kar je turi dalo še piko na i. Sigurno se še vrneva.

Just wow! The cycling was arranged superbly. The wines were fantastic and the overall service was outstanding. Alex is most probably the nicest host you could have.After the cycling we kept in touch and he gave us some very good tips where to go in Slovenia! Just amazing!Thank you Alex for making our stay here even greater than it already was!
