Hotel Jadran

Very old and dated hotel but if you get a lake view room then wow! Bed was very uncomfortable and breakfast wasn't great. Good price for the lake view though. For the hotel over the road (owned by the same group) you would be looking at a much higher price. Free parking and very central location. Just underneath the Straza Bled park (about 5 minutes walk). Very friendly staff. No air conditioning so can get pretty warm!

I've loved my time at the hotel. The room is very simple the bed wasn't super comfortable and breakfast was pretty average but the view from my room! My goodness, breathtaking!The staff are really lovely too. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the breakfast.

Fantastic hotel! Amazing view! Beauty beyond belief. Good food, clean rooms.One important thing - all rooms have hairdryers. Hotel is 5.min walk from the city centre. And you are ON the lake! You just need to cross the road. Views are incredible.

The view is amazing! I’ve been to many places in Europe and by far this is the best view major reason I gave 3 stars. Room is nice and big but the windows don’t cancel the noise and when there’s wind you can’t even sleep.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. The location was very good, near to the lake. Our room was on the 5. floor. We weren't satisfied with it. It was clean, but it had a very oldfashion style, with old, used furniture and bathroom. We heard the wind every night. The breakfast was poor too. It was so simply, and we had to wait for something f.e. new plates. The lift was very slow too.

The hotel was amazing, but rather 30 years ago... I can bet that the bathroom and especially the tub were older than us :/ the breakfast was average. The room could have been cleaner and the bed more comfortable. The promised view lake was amazing, which helps my review a bit :)

Stayed for 30 / 31 sept 2018. Two rooms booked one with lake view. Lake view was lovely but that was the only good point. 2nd bedroom at the back had twin beds placed foot to foot with narrow gap next to beds. Hotel was very tired (broken handle on French door to balcony). No tea/coffee facilities in room. Breakfast poor. OVER PRICED £189 for the smaller of the ‘double’ rooms and £265 for the lake view. Would not recommend or return.

No star if there is. It is not that the hotel is so bad and full of bugs, the receptionist is plain rude and indifferent.We told her that we wish to be transferred to another room because bugs are all over and it is even crawling to our clothes and suitcases.She had the solution to transfer us to another hotel, pay for our own taxi and do it in the rain without even offering an umbrella. She was not even apologetic at all for the bad experience and inconvenience the hotel is causing us... when we told her about her attitude, she said what do we want her to do? Pay for our taxi herself? The arrogance. She does not deserve to be in the hotel business.

Hotel staff very friendly, rooms a bit older but always clean! Very tasty breakfasts! If you get lucky (like we did) and get the room with the lake/caste view, it's absolutely amazing! If you are not all about luxury I definitely recommend a stay in this hotel :)

I love this place. I have stayed twice so far and each time I really enjoyed it. The hotel is older but has its special charisma that's totally worth it. It might be the cheapest place to stay in Bled but I wouldn't choose any different. The rooms are cosy, beds comfortable, bathrooms spacy with bathtub and although they could use a little renovation, they do their job sufficiently. All are equipped with a balcony where there's a table and chairs and if they face the lake, the guests are offered an absolutely stunning view all day and night long with the Bled castle proudly standing on the rock and beautifully lit when it gets dark. Jadran is conveniently located close to the centre and because it belongs to the Sava Hoteli chain, the clients can take advantage of free 3 hour entrance to the pool complex in Rikli Balance Hotel nearby. Breakfasts are good, enough fresh and dried fruits, regularly refilled if something is eaten. And I cannot forget the staff at the reception - lovely guys that are willing to help in any situation and nothing is a problem for them. The truth is I visited in February, which is a low season and things might look differently in spring and summer when Bled is overcrowded as currently the most popular tourist spot in the country. Nevertheless, I highly recommend hotel Jadran for a short stay.
