really nice little place, we had a room for just us 3 and it felt like a hotel (for a lot cheaper)the communal kitchen was super helpful meaning we didn't have to spend money on lunch every dayI think it would be a super nice place if you're on a gap year or something, lots of 20ish year olds

In a great location if you want to access Bled and all the trails around it. The hostel is really below par, needs maintenance in all aspects, lacks any social element and the staff there were odd. No cooking facilities either (bar a microwave and sandwich maker). Probably avoid if you’re visiting Bled!

Honestly, I couldn't be happier about staying at this hostel! It was a supernice place, nice and clean, shower, bathroom. I also met super cool people that I did all my activities with and had so much fun with which I am so thankful for! The host was also very helpful and showed us what to do in bled. I really recommend this place!!

We stayed in this hostel during August there are 6 of us. Blonde receptionist is illegally holding our passports cause we need to make a payment of 1.1 grand in cash. Get the ombudsman. The mirror upon arrival was stanned. Not worth the money.

Absolutely great hostel! Clean rooms and bathrooms, good common area vibe, beautifully placed and super super great service from the hostel team, Esen and Lu. Can highly recommend!

The hostel is in a great location, the beds are comfy and the lockers are spacious. That's about the end of the positives though. It is impossible to contact. I was due to arrive at around 11pm, which I put in my booking. I ended up missing my bus and so my arrival time changed to 6:30am. I tried to contact them to let them know, but had no way to as the email address and phone number listed on my application didn't exist. When I arrived the door was open which didn't make me feel very safe about staying here. There was no key or note or anything left out for me. Luckily I only had to wait outside for an hour before someone arrived and I could get in, but if I had arrived at 11 I imagine I would have had to spend the whole night on the concrete outside. You are asked to keep your food in the kitchen, which is reasonable, however the kitchen is closed between 11pm and 7am. I'm not sure what the point of this is, but it means that if you want to go out in the evening and have a snack later, or if you want to get up early to swim before everyone arrives, you can't eat breakfast, which is a big annoyance. The only kitchen supplies are a microwave and a toastie maker, which is not ideal. Finally with the kitchen on the day I was leaving I went to retrieve my food from the fridge, but they had been thrown away. I asked about this and they said that everything that was out of date or had got wet was thrown away. I explained that my food was in jars or sealed bags with my name, date of leaving and the expiration date labeled, and that even if the containers got wet, they can be easily dried and the food inside will still be edible. All I got in response was a shrug. I was in a rush to get to my train, so couldn't buy replacements, and my next destination was very rural, so I was relying on that food and ended up with nothing to eat all day because of it, had to spend my next day at my new location traveling to get more food and I obviously had to pay to replace it. I found the blond lady very rude and unhelpful. My last issue I will mention is that you have to pay cash here, which isn't mentioned online, so I had to pay an extra 4€ to withdraw cash. Then when I paid the blond lady had an attitude about me not having coins, and didn't give me enough change because they didn't have it in coins. It wasn't a lot under but a good manager would take the hit if it's them that requires you pay in cash and then doesn't have enough change. Also in the room there was one plug socket shared between 4 people. I have more issues with this hostel, but I feel this review is long enough. The hostel itself is nice, it just needs to be run by new people.

Located close to bled lake and huge hostel. Well equipped kitchen and dine in area and rooms are cozy with en-suite decent bathroom.

The worst hostel I have ever stayed in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.Staff exceptionally rude & disrespectful. Multiple staff members told us it was cash only. Told us we could pay in the morning as we arrived late in the evening yet when we informed them the next morning we wished to stay 2 nights instead of 4, they charged our card (for the 4nights) without our permission (even when the staff, website, hostelworld and email all say it’s cash only payments).We wanted to stay 2 instead of 4 nights due to mould present on mattress, through the bathroom, no AC or lamps in the room and only 4 plugs for 8 bedded dorm.Bathroom in rooms disgusting; no clean towel, mould covering ceiling & shower, extractor fans not working not helping and just generally filthy conditions.Never offered us a new room however, when they would not give us a refund (and charged us without our authorisation) moved us to a new room & gave us a dehumidifier in the room, which leaked all over our bags & clothing & entered the room without knocking when removing it. This room again, still had mould in it, no extractor fan and still about 4 plugs spread throughout the 8 bedded room.One morning I heard the manager tell a young worker that she didn’t have to clean the rooms or bathrooms.The kitchen is barely a kitchen. There is an awful smell with hardly and surface area to cook and no oven or job. Just a kettle, George Forman and broken microwave.Hostel is 12 mins away from lane which is the only satisfactory thing about this place. Do not stay here. This hostel/ staff/ rooms ruined my trip.
