I reached the rental counter easy after a long day of traveling. My first choice of car was not available and I was immediately upgraded to a larger (and nicer car). From the time I walked through the door to the time I drove out of the rental center not more than 10 minutes elapsed. The whole process was handled in an efficient, courteous, and cheerful manner. I would definitely rent from Dollar Thrifty again.

These guys are the best! We booked a compact vehicle and they gave us a free upgrade, this wonderful wagon and it was brand new (first rent). Igor was extremely kind, know where to pick up the car next time!

We went on vacation so we rented a car and Thrifty was the cheapest on that day. We reserved online and it was quick and simple. The day of pickup was smooth. The person we talked to there was knowledgeable of everything and helped us upgrade into the vehicle that we wanted. It was also quick and easy returning the car. We just dropped it off then we got on the plane.

My experience with Dollar & Thrifty was very nice. I missed my plane to Dubrovnik and had to wait more than 26 hours till next one. While I was trying to find a car which I could leave in Dubrovnik/Croatia, every agency had a high price for one way fee. I would rather wait at the airport than pay 600€ just to leave the car in Croatia. At the end I tried my luck at Dollar & Thrifty. 2x cheaper one way fee and I even got an automatic. What a great way to start my trip across the Balkan.

Worse experience to imagine. Coming from US to Ljubljana, Slovenia and learning that Dollar rent a car office doesn't have a car that I reserved. Guess they went for higher offer, probably their operating philosophy. Never again any Dollar rent a car.Luckily Ljubljana airport has other rental companies such as Avis, who took care of my problem. Double price but at least I got a car.
