This was a very nice outing for the kids interested in animals and birds in specific. If you are visiting Ptuj, this is just a few minutes away and is well worth the effort.The animal resort has existed for over 10 years but has only been open to the public since June 2023.It is very worthwhile to visit and learn about the various endangered species of animals. The ticket price includes a guided tour, which makes a lot of sense. Our guide was wonderful, telling us many interesting stories about each of the animals. You can tell that everyone there truly cares about the animals and that there is an abundance of knowledge about each species.You can see all sorts of cranes, ducks, swans, emus, ostriches, parrots, owls, an Eagle, and a beautifully shaped incubator for eggs and newborn birds. Also, there are goats, sheep, an albino donkey, alpacas...In addition, there is a small gift shop and a playground for the kids.Very pleased with the experience and can only highly recommend it!!!
