We love the area and the people in general. But Jana and here horses are stunning. We have 3 horses from here and all 3 of them are healty, very people minded and friendly. Even the transport was professional and good.

Wonderful place, would have been well worth the visit even if I hadn't found my new horse here! Horses grow up in a natural environment and are very well socialised, both with other horses and humans. I appreciated getting to meet and hang out with my future horse right there in the herd because it really enabled me to get an accurate impression of her character. Jana is also very helpful and knowledgeable and will answer all your questions honestly. We got a tour of all the pastures and got to meet all the horses and hear their stories too, which was fantastic! A great experience all round and I found the perfect horse for myself.

I spent two years looking for MY horse. I was not primarily interested in pedigree and gait, but in the way the horse is bred and how it grows up. It was important to me that the breeding was as natural and species-appropriate as possible. I found all this at JJ Lipizzans. I spent two days at Jana's place and she showed me all her horses and explained a lot. She has a lot of expertise and you notice immediately that she knows each of her animals exactly and that they always come first for her. The animals are raised on over 100 hectares of pasture in a natural herd. They are super socialized and their physique is well developed due to the large areas they have at their disposal. All animals have a positive attitude towards humans, as they have not yet had any bad experiences. They are absolutely relaxed in their whole behavior. My horse will now stay with Jana for another year because it is the most beautiful place in the world for a horse to grow up and because I know that he is in the best hands with Jana. Thank you for everything Jana!

I purchased a two year old colt from Jana at JJ Lipizzans in 2020, after many months of discussion and deliberation! Jana really went the extra mile, not only to find the right horse for me, but also in helping me to understand the breed as a whole. She spent time explaining the (somewhat complicated!) Lipizzaner naming process and various bloodlines, and I quickly realised she has a very deep and thorough knowledge of not only the breed in particular but also of horses in general. Her values and commitment to conformation, movement and temperament are inspirational. Through our many hours of chatting I realised that Jana also places great value on the upbringing and natural lifestyle her horses and youngstock receive. If you buy a horse which Jana has bred, it will have had one of the most valuable starts a young can have. Lots of space to develop its body and feet, excellent terrain in the very place that the breed has originated from, a herd environment with good social development, and lastly, very positive and kind treatment from humans.I had booked a trip to Slovenia to view my potential new colt, but was unable to due to Covid. So I made the hard decision to go ahead and purchase sight unseen. Jana had given me every reason to trust her and by the time he arrived home with us I was absolutely blown away by his quality and temperament. He has now been home for a month and every day I am more amazed at the horse he is. He oozes quality and is extremely brave, secure and well adjusted. Jana had described him perfectly and he is exactly what I was hoping for and more. I feel so grateful that I was recommended to go to JJ Lipizzans for my first Lipizzaner and if I am ever looking for another in the future I will certainly not look anywhere else!

Jana is so kind and knowledgeable about the Lipizzaner breed, nothing is too much trouble. Jana helped me find the perfect horse to fit with our herd and helped with the arrangement of transportation. I would have no hesitation purchasing a horse from Jana in the future and really commend her on the care and time she puts into all of her horses it is wonderful to see them have such a natural yet cared for life and the result is peaceful and kind horses.
