Awesome place near Croatian border. Excellent food, amazing staff, nice atmosphere. They also offer rooms to stay. Variety of authentic Istrian food - absolutely delicious!

Zelo prijetno gostišče me je že zunaj pritegnilo, ker je bilo pred hišo izredno veliko avtomobilov. In to meni že daje občutek, da je gostišče dobro ali zanimivo. In res je bilo oboje. Celo povprašal sem za prenočitev, a bilo je vse zasedeno, žal. Moja pozitivna ocena gostišča naj bo pobuda za mnoge in si lahko podajo v hribčke nad Portorožem in Izolo. Boste presenečeni, ljudje tam v hribih so še bolj prijazni kot nižje ležeči kraji.

Odlična izbira za dobro hrano v tej majhni istrskivasici Padna. Dober žar, tudi riba in hobotnica izpod peke. Imajo tudi spodobno vinsko karto, pri tem pa tudi domače odprto vino ni od muh. Priporočam tudi vsem, ki so ljubitelji tartufov.Tudi sladice niso od muh. Sam sem bil najbolj zadovoljen z gratiniranimi palačinkami.Restavracija je odprta konec tedna, za med tednom pa je potrebno preveriti, ker se spreminja odvisno od sezone.Možnost je tudi najema sob..

We went there on 06.06.22. It was our first time. The food was amazing, and all in all it was a really nice experience. The taste of truffles is something we love and the starter (meat, cheese, ...) also had some selections with the taste of truffles. The house-made pasta with truffles was also phenomenal. The dessert (crepes from the oven) was really nice, for our taste a bit too sweet, but we almost ate everything (really big portion us 2 shared) of it despite being full before starting it.The waiter was super-friendly and helpful as he made the evening including the food and the awesome view we enjoyed even more amazing.

Warm, modern istrian ambience. The food is exquisite, the staff is also very prepared and kind. Excellent price-performance.Located a little bit outside of the crowded touristic coast, in an old istrian village on the hills, offers a wonderful view and the peace and the sound of nature.

Incredible experience. Top quality fish, wine and meat. Also perfect options for vegetarian and vegan food. The service was absolutely unbelievable. Thank you, we will come back for sure!

they paid not much attention to us, bread was missing, never came to ask.. I really ate better truffle pasta, also worse, so therefor 3 stars. But the ambiance is nice in the hills.

Po 3 letih ponovno v restavraciji, oštariji Gold Istria V vasici Padna. Popolna lokacija, domačnost gostiteljev, izjemni okusi hrane in za današnje čase zelo zmerne cene. Strežba je prijazna in osnovna, tu bi se dalo še kaj postoriti, da bi bila izkušnja se boljša ( malo pozabljivosti in površnosti ) vsekakor pa priporočam obisk ker ne razočara. Hvala za lep večer.

Very nice restaurant hidden on the hill of Padna, serves meat and seafood in Slovenian style. Authentic wood structure and decor, very friendly staff that speak Italian, Slovenian and German. Black truffle is available here all year round. The bread and pasta should be homemade as I see. Good wine selection from that area, including collio, at reasonable prices. There are also rooms, but we did not ask for a visit.

Food was delicious, pasta, stake with white truffles, caprese salad, just perfect. You can smell truffels when you enter the restaurant.
