Camp Bohinj

Unfortunately, we chose the worst timing (heavy rain and rising waterlevels) but, the camp is located right next to a beautiful lake. You can choose your own spot for camper/tent, no parcels, which makes it a little wild, but we liked the situation a lot! All facilities are very clean. I really hope we will be able to come back with better timing.

Paradise - loved this campsite! Amazing location, truly unique right next to the lake with direct access for swimming and paddleboarding/water sports etc.Very relaxed and friendly staff - they create a warm and chilled out atmosphere from the moment you arrive.You have to be lucky (or early) to get a spot next to the lake, but even though we were a little back from it, we still had an amazing view of the lake and mountains.The facilities are perfect - very modern and clean, plus plenty for everyone.Even though it can be busy with a lot of other campers, you still get an amazing feeling of being off the beaten track a little, and it is not like Lake Bled that is very busy with tourists and very developed. It is a more natural experience and great for those who like to be outdoors with nature.Wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely return.

Clean and roomy showers, clean toilet. Hot water is included in the price. Hair dryers would be good. The phone charging station is good but has too little capacity for the amount of people.Sadly supermarket is far away. Good local market, bakery and events at the weekend.

Nice but busy campsite, need to arrive early to ensure a spot. Great starting point for activities, and situated next to the lake.The bread from the bakery was the worst we have had in Slovenia.The walk to the toilets was a bit long, but it all looked brand new and clean.The restaurant food was really nice.Note: I wouldn't go there with a tent, the spots for tents are horrible. The spots for campers/caravans/big tents are nice.

I wanted to love it, as I have visited the area before and it is truly a gem.But as others have said, it is pure chaos and designed that way - at check in we were told 'there are no pitches, find a place you like, you are on your own', and that was very true.Some parts were incredibly full, others were ok. But for the steep price of 22€ per night per person it just had nervous, stressful vibes as people are continuously roaming the site looking for space... This only calmed down after the camp was labelled full.Sanitary spaces were very clean.Personnel was friendly.If you walk outside the camp and around the lake, the views are lovely.

Lakeside camping site of more wild-camping nature. Beautiful scenery, crisp alpine air, nice swimming & boating, especially suitable for canoe and SUP lovers. Also very nice alpine hikes.

The best camp site ever, right by the lake absolutely beautiful. Facilities are clean and modern. Arrive early for the best spot. There is no booking system or allocated pitches, just choose your place. The Vogel cable car is just behind the site to take you up for amazing views.
