Metaldays

First experience in Slovenia. Let's just say the place Rocks! I enjoyed my time at the festival and most importantly, I was one with my surroundings. Until next time METALDAYS!!! \m/

Metaldays in Tolmin was amazing, in Velenje not so much. The new place was okay, but it can't compare to the previous location.

Great festival! Hilarious music and nice food. Camp Velenje is an awesome spot for Metaldays, even if it‘s not Tolmin anymore.

Awesome experience ! The aera is beautiful, Slovenia is a beautiful country ! The music/bands are a good mix (very loud to atmospheric) Facilities in the festival are good, (free) fresh water, lockers, a lot of restroom. Buying food/drink is very easy in the festival with a cashless card (you add € on a Metaldays card that you can use almost everywhere). Very fun !

The best possible venue for this kind of festival. Nice infrastructure, good views. I like it.

The location changed this year and the festival got way worse.About the organisation:-the early arrival had no guards at some entrances, there were thieves in the second night-there was no ramp for wheelchairs at first day with bands-there have been heavy rainfalls the entire festival the organisation of wood chips to improve the stage and the ways took quite a while-also the festival did a bad job of warning about the even heavier rainfalls, there was no official on our campground to warn about the rain and half of it literally got washed away, the organizer was lucky that nobody got harmed due to this negligence-the festival more and more becomes a money grab, some food stands increased their price with the start of the festival over 30%- you are no longer allowed to bring your own drinks to the beachAbout the location:- the lake is okay but it's no river- it smells constantly (like cabbage or something)- velenje is an industrial city nothing special
