Travellers’ Haven Hostel Bled
This was one of my better hostel experiences and I've stayed in quite a few. A good location, just up from the lake and across the street from a grocery store. The kitchen had all the equipment needed, the bed was comfortable, bathrooms were clean, the owner was helpful with recommendations, and it felt very social without being a party hostel. We had long conversations both evenings with interesting people!Only minor complaints were that the kitchen was a little cramped, the light on one person's bed lit up the whole room (but I just cover my eyes at night usually in a hostel), and our door was broken so you had to lock or it wouldn't stay closed.Overall, would definitely recommend!

The manager is very friendly. She is chill and always doing her best to make her hosts feel like home. The shared kitchen is spacious and clean. There’s everything you need and everyone can find a place to chill out.

Travellers’ Haven Hostel Bled
Ich war für drei Nächte dort. Das Hostel ist Sauber und mit allem ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind vollkommen okay aber kein Luxus. Die Küche war etwas klein, da eigentlich nur eine Person Kochen konnte und man teilweise etwas länger warten muss. Ansonsten ist es schön dort und man kriegt direkt zu Beginn ganz viele Tipps was man dort unternehmen kann. Kann ich weiterempfehlen!

This place was lovely and cozy! Colleen was so welcoming and felt like a mother to us. Met some lovely people here and had so much fun. My only issue is the unlockable, see-through showers but even with that I’d still come back here if I was going to bled! Thank you so much!

Travellers’ Haven Hostel Bled
Honestly for what I paid to stay in this hostel for 1 night ($63aud) Im not happy. The room I stayed in had no aircon meaning we had to leave the window open all night for cool air but pretty much directly below is a bar so all you can hear is people talking and shouting. Also because of this bugs are coming into the room during the night. Plus the showers offer no privacy. Theres no where to put your clothes or towels within the showers so you have to stand out in the open and hope for the best. The kitchen is really nice but overall i think the price should be lowered.

I’m very surprised about all the good reviews of this hostel, particularly about “the staff”. There were no staff.The first red flag was standing outside of the hostel at 3pm with a locked door and a sign to call one of the staff to be checked in.One of the other guests let me in where I was able to get wifi and message Colleen. She came over in a few minutes, but didn’t give me any information about the hostel, nor about Bled. It seemed she was annoyed that I was delaying her lunch. She took my credit card, gave me a key and pointed to my room.There are a bunch of cringey signs around the hostel about “keeping your sheets happy” and something about what toilets eat.No aircon or even a fan in the rooms which made sleep quite uncomfortable in the summer months.There were several confused guests at checkout as well, since there is no reception and it seems like keys were simply left on top of a cabinet in the entry way.For €33 per night, surely you can do better.

The place is very clean and nice. The lady who operates is very good and when I missed my bag there she brought that to me also. Highly recommend for tourists and really close to the Bled Lake
