The restaurant was really nice, the atmosphere as well, even though there were a few children running around and the restaurant was packed. The waiter was kind and polite. The prices were a bit on the expensive side. But we wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for a delicious meal. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied at all with what we got. The food was ok at best, I would not order it again.There was a really massive mistake they made. They gave us bad meat. We ordered the tenderloin of young beef with rolls and breadcrumbs and the meat was not good, ‘as in’ it went bad at some point. It was grainy and it tasted foul. You could see immediately after cutting it there was something wrong with it. We both eat meat, usually medium to rare. We knew immediately something was off. Maybe they didn’t stored it well or it went bed because of some other reason. After informed the waiter, he took the meat to the cook, and after a while in the kitchen, he came back, apologized and said they didn’t know how this could have happened. I think they discounted the dish from the end bill (but am not sure).We also had some gnocchi with beef in mushroom sauce, the sauce was unpleasantly sour.And for the desert we had buckwheat rolled dumplings with fruit sauce and dried pieces of apple. They were very compact, it was a bit hard to eat them. But were not bad.We will unfortunately not come here again. The food was no good.

Very nice place with good food. The waiter was super nice even though he was there alone at a Saturday evening and super busy at the time we arrived. Prices are a bit higher but the food was delicious so we dont mind. After the dinner we have been served a local blueberry liquor for house. Surely recommend and will be back!

Prelep objekt, ki je popolnoma renoviran, s čudovito restavracijo, v domačem alpskem stilu. Nahaja se ob kampu Danica in teniški dvorani. Osebje je prijazno in nasmejano, kuhinjo imajo odličo, vse ostalo boste pa sami poskusili, ko jih obiščete.

Gostilnica Danica na desni strani na koncu Boh. Bistrice v smeri proti Bohinju, kjer je tudi Camp, prijetna na novo urejena v lepem ambientu gostilna, zelo prijazno osebje. Nudijo a la card naročila, cene ugodne, na prvem mestu pa prijaznost!!!!

Really delicious food,Multiple vegan options, vegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked on the menu,I can recommend the vegan salad and the vegetarian plate (the normal version as well as the vegan adaption)

Danica restaurant is modern restaurant offering traditional and local Slovenian meals. We’ve got salad with smoked red trout, chicken steak with mushroom sauce, chicken roll with green beans and spaghetti. All was delicious.We also had all of their deserts. All was very tasty and quickly served.This place is suitable for groups, too. The staff is kind, prices are higher which is expected for a tourist place.

Good meal. Big and tasty. Slightly slow service. Think it's a good place if you want to fill up and relax by a glass of wine, you have a nice of the mountains and trees around.

Absolutely amazing experience, lovely service and great food, free reserved parking, spacious modern room with a touch of local culture, great bed to sleep on, and an amazing and kind staff, 10/10 recommended to visit multiple times in every season
