Excellent choice for your stay around Lake Bled. The hosts were kind and very accommodating. The history of the house gives it a lot of personality, and the apartments are cosy and nicely furnished. Frida’s Old House is also very well located, just few minutes away from Bled and all its amenities. You cannot get it wrong staying here!

Our stay at Frida’s was simply amazing. The apartment was spotless and very nice decorated. The host is so so kind and made us feel very welcome. They really exceeded our expectations. If we could give a higher than a 5, we would.

The most amazing hospitality seen by the family who runs this place with utmost care. Loved staying here and would recommend everyone to stay here when visiting Bled, location is perfect to visit the surrounding areas, great walks and cycling paths from the house, the view is great when sitting outside the house. This is one of the best places we have stayed in and RECOMMEND THIS OVER ANY OTHER PLACE IN BLED.

Modern rooms in an old farmhouse, set in a marvellous location in the rustic village of Bohinjska Bela, just outside of Bled. The hosts were very friendly, with a welcome drink and homemade cake. They even gave us a souvenir mug. The apartments have just been renovated and opened for business this year.

It is a lovely place! The hosts are very nice. The room was new clean and modern. We got a lot of good advice to hiking. I am sure we will go back

Amazing accommodation with amazing hosts. Luka and his family went above and beyond to welcome us and provide us with all the information we might need. Luka welcomed us with rakija, gave us a map of the area and recommended the best sigthseeing spots, pastry shops, restaurants and even parking spots. Lukas mother prepared us a local dessert called Grmada which was amazing and even better than the one we tried at the local pastry shop and Lukas dad gave us a nice farewell and gifted us a jar of honey locally produced. House we stayed in was built over a 100 years ago and it remained in the same family until this day. It is located in the small quiet village between Bled and Bohinj and it takes a short car drive to get to Bled and about 30 minutes drive to Bohinj. There is a parking spot reserved for every guest. Whole house has been renovated couple of years ago but they kept the original look of the house. They decorated rooms with new furniture and appliances but they choose traditional design of the furniture to keep the authentic look of the house. They also used old furniture and woodwork and remade it into different useful items like wall hangers.There was coffee, tea, milk, cookies and even beer prepared for us in the kitchen. In the hallway of the house you can see decades old family photographs showing their family history and the history of the house which was once not only their family house but it also had a restaurant and a small store at the ground floor. House also containst a small cellar in which you can have a glass of wine provided by the hosts. There is a small creek running next to the house which you can hear from the window and I believe might be connected to the small waterfall located in the village. All in all we were truly amazed by hosts kindness and the history of their family and their family house. We had a lovely stay here and we hope we will be back someday.

I highly recommend Fridas old house. Luka and his family were amazing, they welcomed us with a homemade cake and alcohol, and they also filled the fridge for us with some stuff, as we were leaving we also got honey as a gift. Perfect service, I ve never experienced something like this. Rooms were super clean and beautiful. The bed was soo comfortable. Kitchen was well equiped and we didnt miss anything. The place is quiet and we could relax there very well.I am so happy that we ve decided for this accomodation.
