Functioneel want vanaf deze hut is het nog 1.5 uur naar de top van de Triglav. Verder heel basic. Geen water, hurktoilet, porties eten zijn niet heel groot, zeker na een hele dag wandelen.

This was the first Slovenian hut we ever stayed in - we mostly have experiences in Italy and Austria. So don’t know how this hut compares to others in Slovenia.Positive:- we found the staff to be kind and helpful;- the location is very good, approx 1u25 from the Triglav Summit;- superb sunset!- you can pay by card.Not too good:- Food is ok, but not too much and very basic: soup, slice of bread and pancakes for diner and two slice of bread with jam for breakfast (or two fried eggs with one slice of bread).- There was no toilet paper left since the late afternoon, which made the pit toilets a little extra uncomfortable;- The dorm was good with regards of spaciousness and beds, but very noisy. There was a big group drinking a lot and singing until late;- This same big group was given priority at breakfast, as such, all the other smaller groups had to wait for half an hour until they were all done… organisation-wise this could have been improved.Please note, as others have mentioned before: the hut doesn’t have any water, so you can buy it at the hut for 6€ per 1,5L or fill it at the other hut’s spring an hour from here. In addition, this means that there are pit toilets and that you should brush your teeth outside.All and all: if you don’t expect too much and want to sleep close to the Triglav summit for an early morning hike, this is a good place to stay. I however am going to bring my own food next time ;-)
