SIBAHE - slovenian foodbank is a humanitarian NGO organisation working on a principe of foodbanking, which means that SIBAHE main principle is food collection and its distribution to people and families with low income and those who are living in poverty ; besides that SIBAHE is offering also other programme from social inclusion area.The food for SIBAHE humanitarian purpose can be donated, collected in food collection actions, or gathered from food waste, and then delivered to people in needs in cooperation with other humanitarian organisations.SIBAHE operation is mainly guranteed with help of volunteers who are doing their tasks free of charge and with desire to help people who are, because of different circumstances, facing difficult situation.As non-profit organisation SIBAHE is collecting and gaining funds for its functioning only from donations and grants from local, national or international levels.At present time SIBAHE is providing the food aid for several thousants of people while its services are still growing.
