When i was in elementary school, i read a book titled Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. Throught the years, it has nostalgically remained my favourite book of all time, so much in fact, i've used the names Oryx and Crake in countless situations throught my life.So imagine my surprise when i saw this company - kind od like a sign from above, combining my two favourite things, gaming and obscure antelope species. Honestly, i was awestruck, and immediately started digging around about them. And whilst digging, i've become increasingly personally disgusted and dare i say hurt, by what i found. And let me tell you why this company does not deserve the sole 5 star review it has on google. And it has to do with morals. Fun topic.How do you feel about addiction? What are your thoughts on parasitic practices preying upon people struggling with their uncontrollable gambling urges? Maybe as a gamer you've heard of loot box controversy? Well, let me introduce to you Oryx gaming, a company which does not deserve the perfect name it holds.Basically they get hired by various other companies to make gambling games. On their website, you can play some demoes, and let me tell you, for a company which is not small (around 200 people i think), the games are extremely sub-par both regarding overly simplistic gameplay and graphics. But what would you even expect from a prolific" company which brags about over 8000 games under their belt? These are casino games like slot machines
