Ljubljana Free Tour

We did your free city tour today with Tina 1 and it was excellent. Tina did a fantastic job keeping us interested in the history of the city and descriptions of the landmarks. We learned a lot about Slovenia in 2 hours and we have a much better appreciation for the country and the city of Ljubljana. Tina 1 was also very kind and helpful. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy a fantastic dinner. We are vegetarian, but we wanted to taste local dishes like Goulash which has meat, but thanks to her recommendation of vegan restaurant Güjžina, we were able of enjoy a vegan form of Goulash and other delicious local dishes and beers. Thank you Tina 1 and free local tours for a great afternoon.

I had a lovely tour with Mariana. She was so enthusiastic and fun and also knew so much about Ljubljana and the history of Slovenia. The two hours were perfect with many stops around the city. I would definitely recommend going on a tour! It's also great for solo trips.

We did both the free general walking tour and the free walking castle tour the same day. We had Peter for the general walking tour then Helena for the castle one. They were both amazing! Both of them really knew their stuff and made the tour very enjoyable with good humour and tons of interesting historical information. Ljubljana is an incredible city with great history and we are so happy we were able to enjoy both these tours to see it in depth.I am a free walking tour guide back home in Victoria, Canada, so it was awesome to see how other guides do their tours here. We decided to do the Ljubljana free tour at 11am on our first morning in Slovenia. There were around 90 people on the day and we were split into 3 groups. Our guide (apologies, I think his name was Jack") did not have a microphone however this was not an issue for such a large group

Wir haben die Classic Tour" mit "Tina 1" gemacht. Die Tour war sehr informativ und mit tollen Tipps gestaltet (z.B. Restaurants) gestaltet. Sie hat etwa 2 Stunden gedauert. Tina war eine sehr liebenswürdige Stadtleiterin. Die Tour hat uns gut gefallen und wir würden sie auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen um einen ersten Eindruck von Ljubljana zu bekommen."

Really great tour, took about 2 hours and allowed us to see all the main sites (apart from the castle). Guide was really informative and we learnt a lot about the history of Slovenia.Works well for small groups, you can just turn up. Bigger groups need to book in advance

THE BEST experience in Ljubljana! And if you can have the tour with Mariana will be the best! She is amazing and very knowledgeable! And she loves her city and country! It’s a fun 2 hour tour and you learn a lot about the city, the architecture, the history, the flags. Definitely worth it! Seriously don’t skip it!

Our 3 PM tour with Anja was very delightful! She is very knowledgeable and the tour is a very nice way to learn about the main attractions of the city. Totally recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed the free tour of Ljubljana--and appreciated hearing the correct pronunciation repeatedly--ha! We had Anja (I hope I'm spelling that correctly); she was lovely. She was very knowledgeable about the city and Slovenian history and answered all of our questions, random though some of them were. (Hint: there's a guy with an ostrich and some very odd statues around the town.)
