A piece of Egypt in Ljubljana!I was super happy to discover this restaurant and its extremely kind owner with whom I even got to exchange a few words in Arabic!The food tastes amazing – I really enjoyed baklava!شكرا ً جزيلًا!

Very nice place, reasonable prices for students. The atmosphere could use a bit of work but seeing they've just recently opened I don't doubt it will be cozier. And they offer Arab tea and baklavas. Score!

Redko kdaj sem jedel tako dobro hrano kot v tej restavraciji. Postrežba je odlična in lastniku je zelo važen odziv gostov. Pri tem se vidi njegova pasija. Tudi do študentov je zelo prijazen, kar na žalost ni standard v vseh restavracijah. Cena študentskega oborka je poštena, velikosti porcij jedi so primerne, juha je vsak dan drugačna in kot pijačo ne dobiš sam vodo, vendar arabski čaj. Pri izbiri napitka se vidi, da lastnik ne želi prodajati hrane, temveč skuša gostom približati njegovo kulturo.

Prvič naročala, in se veselila da pokusim.. ☺️Razočarana!Arabska hrana se ponaša z obilico okusov, česa nisem zasledila pri jedeh iz Šavirme.Jedi so bile nezačinjene in enoličnega okusa.

I ordered the Arabski veganski mix for a lunch delivery which should have included: Falafel, špinačni falafel, humus, Tahina, Baba ghanoush, arabska sarma v trtinem listu, Tabule solata, arabski kruh according to the dish description.Unfortunately, the Baba ghanoush and Tahina were missing.The bread and humus were fine, though nothing special, and the Tabule salad was flavourless and had some wilted lettuce.Overall, it was fine, but definitely not worth the cost of € 7,90 (not to mention the additional charges of € 0.50 for Embalaža" and € 4

Delicious authentic food for a very affordable price. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend!
