I dont have gravel bike - so that’s the reason I chose the LIFE Bike agency. I rented a gravel bike and the guide for Pokljuka tour. I cycled few times and every time it was amazing. The tours they planned were very dynamic and adjusted to my bike level experience. And the guides were really organised and kind as well!

We rented touring bike for a trip of 8 days around Juliana alps. The bike were good quality, no surprise and well equipped. Matej was also really helpful and reactive if we had any issue !I would definitely recommend Life Bike

Amazing experience with Mateo and his team. The bikes were very good, the team is very accommodating and provides good advices. Finally the location is very good next to the station in case part of the trip back is done by train. We fully recommend!

We rented bikes at LIFE bike last week and we were thrilled by the experience!!Not only were the bikes much better than anything we could find at other rental places (we are avid cyclists and were looking for good quality bikes), but the staff made sure our experience was as enjoyable as possible!From the booking which went very smoothly (with the team answering our many questions by email) to the cycling itself, everything went down perfectly.The experience manager, Matej, directly offered to push our rental a few days back to adapt for the bad weather conditions of last week. He also made some suggestions of nice routes, with GPX files!Lastly, the staff made sure we had every piece of equipment we could need, from phone holder to extra bottles, tubes, side cases, and more.All in all, PERFECT SERVICE!If you are looking for a good bike rental and/or bike travel agency, I highly recommend BIKE life. We truly enjoyed cycling through the Triglav National Park, most definitively thanks to Matej and his team!

One of the best experiences. We planned our own bike-packing trip throughout Slovenia and had a lot of questions. Matej was incredibly responsive and helped us navigate impeccably. We rented gravel bikes that were in perfect condition for tackling both paved and dirt roads. I did a ton of research and this place has, by far, the best selection of quality bikes. The staff really cares about biking, it is clear. The shop is also super conveniently located next to the train station in Lesce, so you can access all parts of Slovenia (and there are bike paths everywhere). Let my research save you from emailing tons of different shops, go here first! 10/10 would recommend and rent again.

This is an amazing ride with spectacular scenery. There is a good mix of gravel road, technical single track, as well as some low traffic paved roads. We did the tour on full suspension mountain bikes, which seemed to be the correct bike for the tour. There were some areas which required hiking with the bike so it’s hard to imagine doing it with an E bike although there could be some rerouting. Also, some of the more technical sections seemed best suited to a full suspension bike. Having done another Life self guided trip, this was much more challenging although rated similarly. We are in our late 50s and a very high level of fitness was required so adjust required fitness accordingly. Overall, this was an an epic and highly rewarding ride as long as you are properly prepared. Slovenia is absolutely beautiful, the people are lovely, and for the most part we had very good food and accommodations. The area is also full of important history as the route goes along the Soca river where the WWI Isonzo battles were fought.

Breathtakingly scenic, challenging, loads of fun. Covers a wide variety of areas, biking types, and probably some of the outright coolest biking trails I’ve ever been on. Quite a way to experience the country for the first time.Hotels were awesome and in beautiful and/or convenient locations for finding dinner and drinks around town. Luggage transport was simple and seamless. Communication with our guide was easy and quick. Everyone we encountered along the way was kind and helpful. Thankfully for us, most everyone spoke very good English.I’d recommend being ready for some type 2 fun. We’re fairly fit but some of the days were long and not just because of the biking itself. A couple of route options had us going through tricky overgrown areas or needing to hike. I’d suggest bringing a spare battery to charge your phone for navigating as we wouldn’t have made it without ours. Having auditory navigation cues would have helped preserve battery, but that wasn’t an option for these routes. The app worked well except for our last day, where it didn’t distinguish between paved and unpaved sections, which made it somewhat more difficult to plan.Most of the riding wasn’t terribly technical, but some sections were a bit aggressive, especially for the bikes provided.

We used LIFE Bike when we visited Bled, to rent Gravel bikes and via ferrata equipment for Triglav. Everything was excellent!! Extremely good service, from all persons we met in the company. Also good tips to the biking and hiking trips. The price was good for the excellent condition of the equipment. Would defiantly recommend everyone to use LIFE Bike!

Thank you Matej & team for the fantastic week! We have enjoyed every altimeter, the journey, the amazing landscape and the adventure! We loved it!!!Everything was well organised, good hotels, we had no worries … just enjoying the Bike Life! We had the pleasure to eat great food & drink very good local wine all week.It was an amazing trip and we loved the country and the people.
