This was a great experience. We came in August on a day that was very warm so we did not need an extra layer of clothes to stay warm, but it was a significant difference at the top. I recommend getting there early to get a good spot on the cable car. At the top there is a restaurant and bar and additional hiking, you can make a day of it.

A quick way up when hiking to the Vogel and Šija mountains. A bit pricey and not possible to buy tickets online in advance. As usual, it is recommended to come as soon in the morning as possible to beat the crowds. The cable car goes up and down every 30 minutes and the cabin can take up to 80 people. The first ride is at 8:00 and takes around 5 minutes. Parking near the station is free.

The cable car is expensive, we paid almost 60€ for two adults. The hiking map that you can take is very confusing, even the info desk lady said so. We hiked a round trip that took 2h+ advised by the info lady that had quite steep and challenging terrain which was breathtakingly beautiful. For the first 30m we were bummed for paying so much because the start of the hike is bad, but it got amazing later. We took the free/included lift back to the cable car.3 stars because the hike was top notch, but the cable car and map were expensive and bad.

A really nice experience - the cable car takes you high up in the mountains where you are met with a spectacular view. Paid 26€ for a discounted student round-trip ticket. You can spend however long you want up with options to either hike to the peak point in Sija or simply enjoy delicious local food in a restaurant.

The lift provides amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains with a nice place to sit at the top. A short walk down after the cable car can take you to a chair lift which is free to ride. The cable car runs every 30 minutes so it does get fun.

€29/adult, the cars are 80 people capacity. A few tourist buses arrived before us so the cable car was packed, so I couldn't enjoy the view that well. I'm sure it's nicer when it's less busy. Staff was informative and helpful, incredible views on the top. Facilities include a toilet & cafe, restaurant on top.

The Vogel cable car will takes you directly from The valley station to the Vogel mountain top point. The lookouts there are amazing.The overall service is fine. There is a bistro, toilets, souvenir shop and sporting goods and clothing boutique.We visited the Vogel mountain in weekday and it was not busy at all. Tickets cannot be purchased online ahead at this moment.Definitelly recommended to visit and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Beautiful view from the top of the hill. You didn't have to wait long for the lift, up or down. We were able to take our dog which was a big plus point, because we wouldn't have been able to go up if it wasn't possible.

As other people already mentioned, it is not cheap. The parking is free of charge, when using the cable car (just keep the receipt). Just make sure to arrive early. Nevertheless it is a great hiking spot!
