My partner and I took a private session with Matic and had a wonderful time on the river. He has chill vibes and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning. Have been returning for the sessions as it gets more and more fun.

Incroyable expérience (débutante) sur la rivière Soca pendant plus de 3h ! Notre instructeur était génial, plein d’humour et très patient ! Nous avons adoré et nous ne pouvons que conseiller de faire appel à ses services :-) la prise de rendez-vous s’est fait très facilement la veille et la communication était super ! De plus, nous sommes repartis avec plein de photos et des souvenirs gravés à tout jamais de ce décor incroyable ! Merci beaucoup !

Matic was incredible! We were two beginners and he made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire time! It’s rare to have a guide who will have every one warm up and stretch. He also had us practice a number of times in the calm water first. We watched other beginner groups get right in without much guidance!Matic was so calm, so generous and clearly cared about our safety and making sure we had a good time. I may never really understand how to steer but he never made me feel bad, was also encouraging and found ways to challenge us. And I may have flipped twice and while the water was refreshing I never felt in danger.And the Soca river and valley are…. breathtaking. I’ve never been somewhere so beautiful and Matic also possessed such a deep appreciation and respect for the area.10/10 would highly recommend!

I was looking for an advanced course for myself to correct a number of old school mistakes and be more confident on the water in difficult places.I can honestly say, that I was damn lucky to meet Matic, he is a kayaking legend and knows every rock and fish in the Soča valley! I got great pleasure and an unforgettable experience, as well as video analysis, tips for correcting my mistakes, a huge number of recommendations for kayaking, hiking, paragliding and ofcourse the most delicious dishes of Slovenian cuisine!Very fair prices and accuracy in calculations, relaxed and friendly communication, gave the feeling that we have known each other for 100 years!And an individual approach to each member of the group without template hackneyed exercises really gave an amazing result!Thank you so much, I am sure that I will come back again and will recommend sincerely to all my friends!

From the moment I made contact, Matic was accommodating, informative and wanted to cater to all our desires. We had a personalized tour and even got to see unexpected parts of Slovenia with our tour guide Karmen (the most welcoming and sweetest person). The communication was perfect up until pick up that led to truly a day full of magic, wonder and adventure! I cannot rave enough about how wonderful both Karmen and Matic were. Put your full trust with Matic, he will not disappoint. Kayaking on the Soca is an experience you do not want to miss!

Perfect experience!We did three days on the Soca with Kajak Soca. The first day we could not see all the secret spots due to the weather but Zita, our guide, made a nice introduction to kayaking and showed us all there was to see.After this great first day we could very spontaneously add two more days of kayak course. Matic, our coach for the 2nd and 3rd day, is a great teacher and we had a blast paddling on the Soca with him. He perfectly integrated everyone into the group and always had good tips for improving and fun exercises to try. He made everyone feel safe and encouraged us in a fun way to try more.Together with his choice of where to paddle, what boat and equipment would suit us it was really an ideal experience for us as beginners but I am sure Kajak Sofa is your best bet no matter your level.

Me and my partner had the best time on the river with Matic. It was not just a simple kayak trip, but rather a intensive course. He shared so much knowledge about kayaking, but also about the area (with many fun facts) and gave us good recommendations for hikes and restaurants/food.10/10 recommend

We had a great experience kayaking as a family of 4. Matic was in regular contact before our session and kindly was flexible as our plans changed.The youngest was not confident when we started. José, our coach, was great at challenging us safely and by the end, all of us were kayaking in the white water of the Soča.For high quality coaching and a great experience in a small group (4 or less), you should seriously consider going with kayak-soča.Brilliant!
