I stayed here with my wife and two kids and we absolutely loved our stay at Klavze 28. This is the perfect idyllic vacation spot for a family. It's off the beaten path in a gorgeous part of the country but provides easy access to the rest of Slovenia by car or a train station conveniently located at the end of the driveway. John and Sarah are absolutely wonderful hosts and have loads of great recommendation to make the most of your time there. if a quiet, easy going vacation is your style, you'll love it here.

Die beiden Häuser liegen abseits, auf einer großen Wiese. Wir waren in Klavže 27.Es ist alles ganz liebevoll und außergewöhnlich eingerichtet. Man vermutet gar nicht, wofür altes Eisen alles verwendet werden kann.Der Blick vom WC ist der Wahnsinn.Es gibt einen Zugang zum Fluss und im Hause Klavže 28 Räume, wo man sich aufhalten kann sowie eine komplett eingerichtet Küche, welche man benutzen darf.Wenn man essen gehen möchte, muss man mit dem Auto oder Rad nach Most na Soči fahren.Ansonsten kann mann herrlich draußen sitzen und die Ruhe genießen.Das der Zug vorbeifährt, stört überhaupt nicht.Wie schon vor mir gepostet wurde.Wer sich nicht darauf einlassen kann, dass die Zimmer nicht abschließbar sind und im Bad sehr viel Glas ist, was nicht mit Gardinen oder ähnlichem versehen ist, der sollte nicht herkommen.John ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht.Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Thank you to Sarah, John and Rok for a lovely stay at Klavze 28 last September! They were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, going above and beyond to accommodate our (and our toddler’s) needs. Breakfasts are delicious, coming from local farms and purveyors. Also learned about some of the many delicious local wineries from John and got to taste some wines on property.The rooms and indoor spaces are rustic and warm with unique, modern flourishes throughout. The outdoor space is truly magical with trails to the river, various outdoor seating areas, colorful wildflowers and wild animal sightings (including chamois just a few yards from us). It was great to just walk around and explore the property; however, the Klavze team also had many recommendations for and connections to other local adventures ranging from high end dining and wine tasting to fly fishing, hiking and extreme sports.Klavze 28 was the most memorable stay on our trip (Slovenia and northern Croatia) for its combination of comfort, wonder and natural beauty. It is a place to hope to return to and have already personally recommended to families and friends.

So ein wunderschöner Ort! Unsere Erwartungen wurde mehr als übertroffen! Sarah, John und Rok sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist super, super lecker und bestand fast nur aus regionale Produkte. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen! Vielen Dank!

Rooms, quiet and calm location ideal to relax, hosts, hefty breakfast, everything was top notch.Definitely coming back!

We had an unbelievable time staying at Klavze 28. The property is absolutely stunning, nestled into nature but with all the comforts of home at the house. Sarah and John could not have been more wonderful - they provided great recommendations for activities in the area (and beyond, as we were traveling throughout the country!) and the breakfasts every morning were delicious and plentiful amidst the most beautiful backdrop.At John's recommendation, after spending a few days in Bled + Bohinj, we took the car train from Bohinj to Most na Soči which was a quick and unique experience and drops you just about 10 minutes from the house. Super easy!Whether you're planning an active trip or just looking to relax in nature, this is the place to go! Thank you so much to Sarah, John, Bowie and Maks for making us feel so at home. We are so grateful!!

Séjour exceptionnel! Lieu magique, apaisant, dans un décor majesteux. La maison est charmante, décorée avec soin, super confortable, petit déjeuner délicieux et les hôtes sont vraiment attentionnés et sympathiques. Un coup de coeur lors de notre séjour en Slovénie! My toddlers and I have travelled many places within the states and across the world, and this is easily one of the most beautiful, unique, enchanting and memorable places (and accommodations!) we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. If you value nature, quiet, and culture, and something off the beaten path, Klavže 28 is absolutely worth the trip!! The two guest houses are architecturally stunning and charming, the rooms thoughtfully appointed, and the grounds hard to beat. The large communal kitchen and living spaces make it feel like summer camp or a family reunion with friends and strangers alike, and the owners/ hosts, John and Sarah, are all-around awesome people who we enjoyed getting to know. Plus my kids adored playing with their toddler and baby! The epically grand lawn, surrounded by towering, lush, green forest was incredibly beautiful and relaxing, and my kids couldn’t stay away from the cool creek for thrilling river dips on either end of the property. We also did an awesome day trip to Lake Bled, catching the train just a 5 minute walk up the driveway. The nearby town offers some delightful dining options and stunning views, but our favorite thing to do was just stay on the property and explore, play games, roast marshmallows around the bonfire, and watch the skies change throughout the day. We can’t wait to go back!! Highly, highly recommended this trip for any nature lovers and curious travelers. An absolute delight.
