Glamping Organic Farm Slibar

We spent lovely and beautiful days on the Farm. Lovely, friendly and helpful Owners. Delicious eco food and breakfast. Beautiful place with great views of the mountains. I hope that we will come back. All the best Gregor and Monica.

We stayed at Glamping Slibar in the beginning of June 2018.As positive sides we see a very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms/cottages and location of the glamping. Breakfast was basic but ok. The bathrooms are small, but offer everything what you need – a sink, a shower and a toilet. They are very clean as well.On the organic farm they sell very delicious organic beer, which we highly recommend. We also bought some other organic products from the shop on Slibar farm.A very negative side for us was a church next to the glamping – its bells were very loudly ringing (especially loud they were in the morning around 7 and few more times during the day, the bells made the noise also every 15 minutes - day and night - but this was shorter). Bells bumping bothered our sleep, as the houses are wooden and closing the window does not really help. From our point of view it is hardly believable that in 2018 the Catholic church can still terrorize people with their banging and local communities do not step together and do something against it.Although the service was ok and the family/owners of the glamping are trying very hard for their guests to feel comfortable, we will not come back until that church will still be staying there. I guess there is still long way to go :))

Great experience, highly recommended! Owners are very nice, place is very well kept, beautiful grounds/farm, good breakfast en lovely cottages. Thank you for a wonderful vacation with our kids.

26th September 2023 - This was such a personal experience being welcomed into the home of these beautiful Slovenians and having a home made dinner with the children of the family serving our tour group. Being shown around the farm before hand. It was a nice change being shown something less of a tourist hot spot and a little more private.Dinner was delicious as was the wine.

We stayed here for a weekend on a two week trip that started in Germany and ended in Croatia. We mostly stayed in urban environments, and there was something amazing about waking up on a farm in the mountains. It was by far the highlight of our trip. The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed, the breakfast was amazing, and the food and beer available at the store was amazing. The hosts were some of the nicest and warmest people I have met. I highly recommend this place. We had a four month old baby with us and they were very accommodating.We went to Ljubljana for a day trip, but there is lots of hiking and good food in the area.We are planning another trip to Europe and will likely try to work staying here a day or two into our itinerary.Note: We stayed here a few years ago and I thought I had saved the review but it would appear it never did, so sorry to the hosts I should have posted this a long time ago!

Wonderful place! We loved everything, from friendly hosts, all the animals, nice breakfast (everything homemade and delicious) to beautiful location! We loved how eco-conscious every detail of the place was! 100% recommended!

Wonderful, very original cabins with nice natural swimming pool, very clean bathrooms and the best breakfast you can have. We truly loved this place. Do not forget to visit the farm and store with organic products where you can buy there own produced beer.

We had an amazing time staying here. The family is incredibly nice and work hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. Cabins are very clean and cute, offer outdoor seating so you can enjoy the weather and the farm. Bathrooms are not connected to the cabins but are only a short walk away. Very clean and nice as well. Highly highly recommend
