Explorer International Summer Kids' and Teens' Camps - Europe

My two eldest sons went aged 15 and 17 years old. This is a challenging age for them with too much technology time and not enough quality time BUT this camp was exactly that. Lots and lots of healthy interaction, socializing, team building, leadership and personal building experiences. Highly recommend it. I come from a religious background where moral values are very important and I felt this camp truly portrayed this . My boys loved Steve!

My expectations were a bit low when I first arrived but then, I stayed with two other Russians and having people from the other side of the world next door was wholesome. The activities are endless and you will probably never get bored. You get to meet with people of different cultures. Having breakfast, lunch and dinner with people from all around the globe was a completely different experience which you cant expect to feel on a regular basis. I personally haven't tried rafting or went to play paintball before the camp, other than these two, you will experience all sorts of outdoor activities, caving, hiking,biking,wall climbing, swimming, boat racing and wood working. I am glad to have been a part of such an amazing group of people and supervisors, I just wish I could have been there for more than a week.

My kids had an absolutely amazing time at Explorer camps this year and are already asking to go back next year. The hotel and activities are amazing, but what really makes the camps special is the staff and the emphasis placed on camp values. The camps helped my kids grow in confidence, develop lots of different skills and build friendships that have lasted beyond the camp. The communication from Steve was great before, during and after the camps and I really appreciated getting daily photos to see how they were getting on. Bonus points for the fact they are not allowed mobile phones!

Best 2 weeks of camp ever :). I was in the Pathfinders, and I must say, nothing feels better than being allowed to use up all my energy every day for weeks on end :). So much better than sitting in front of a computer, and I would know since I have online classes! Been here since the very beginning in Bohinj as well, and the friendships I made in the past two weeks, and the amazing people I met, will forever stay in my heart :).

The experience at Explorer Camp was really amazing! My sons have met other guys from all ages and all over the world. There was a friendly atmosphere. All children felt free and safe and they have really improved English language. Lots of different activities everyday and never got bored. Even if I have only been there once, I can only say good things about the camp. The rooms, the activities and especially Steve and the staff are all great in the way they handle the campers. Highly recommend this camp. Both of my children enjoyed it and could not stop talking about their adventures. This was their first over night camp experience and we were really happy how it went. Thank you Steve and others who gave them this wonderful opportunity and we look forward to returning next year.

My daughter of 14 was totally impressed by camp experience this July. The camp is situated in the picturesque place surrounded by mountain, lakes, river and forrest. Atmosphere was very warm and friendly. She tried so much different activities during the week stay as if she have been there for a month. Suping, hiking, canoeing, climbing, swimming were just small part of everyday activities. Children were on the fresh air almost full day. Campers evening fires impressed most of all! The staff was multinational, high qualified, very friendly and expiring.Our family is highly recommend Explorer camp for visiting! The experience is really unique and unforgettable!

The Slovenian Summer Kids camp it has been an amazing experience for our son and for us. They have given them the confidence to meet new kids, communicate in a foreign language, and get trust on themselves, and all these in a very comfortable family environment.Besides the English skills, socializing and the family feeling, which were very important for us, the way they make the kids be part of the camp, giving them the opportunity to choose and decide, were very important for our son. Next year he wants to be back.

Explorer International Camp has changed my daughter's life for the best, definitely! She has been there 3 times and it helped her to impove English, find friends all I've the world, experience rafting, hiking, tubing and a lot of other outdoor activities. And all these in magnificent mountains surrounding. Special thank you goes to camp staff and its director Steve, they are so interested and involved into children's lives. Great place to go for unforgettable memories! :)

The Explorer's camp have been an amazing experience for our daughter.This 2 weeks have been empowering and horizon broadening. The connection with children from other countries (she made friendships beyond the camp), the camp cancellers (which have been attentive to every need).Steve, the camp director was very responsive to us (the parents) before and during the camp.Highly recommended
