This is like a Disney movie come to life. I have never stayed in a place that felt quite so magical. The grounds are stunning, the park around the castle is beautiful, and the staff were the most helpful and accommodating people that I’ve come across. My fiancée and myself opted to stay in Otočec as a base for exploring Slovenia. The castle is absolutely gorgeous. The exterior maintains its old-world charm whilst the interior is clearly modernized but in such a classy way as to maintain its ties to medieval decor. I wish that we could have stayed longer than two nights because every moment of our stay made us feel like the royalty that we all wish that we were.

Zares lepo okolje, urejena restavracija gradu, žal pa izkušnjo natakar, ki ne govori slovensko.

Idealno mesto za sprostitev in uzitek v srednjeveskem ambientu, priporočam tudi ogled bližnje okolice.

Zelo lep grad na otočku sredi Krke, zelo romantično!

4 star hotel surrounded by divine nature. Situated on a small island in the middle of the Krka river. Best time to visit is spring. It dates back in the 13th century. There are so many beautiful sights around this castle. There is also a golf course, adventure park and parking spots. Service is excellent. Novo Mesto is the closest city nearby.

Odličen ambijent, postrežba in hrana. Vtis pa je motil pokvarjen jacuzzi v sobi on park brez klopi.
