Please do NOT use these swindlers if hiring a car. They are cheap for a reason. They will find any reason to steal your security deposit and make their money that way. I had to pay €850 for improper driving" when the brake discs overheated. The discs were old and yet they charged for new pads and discs. Awful customer service (don't think they understand the term). Never answer calls or if they do

One star is too generous for this scam company. I have rented numerous cars in many companies in different countries and this by far is the worst company out there.I rented a car in Portoroz and dropped it off at Ljubljana airport. Europcar are suddenly claiming damages (scratch and dent already on the car) which I didn't cause. I got the full insurance which should cover all damages regardless. I recorded videos before and after which clearly proves I didn't cause any damages. I even returned the car with more fuel than when I picked it up. They lied on the check out form about the fuel level too. Unfortunately it was a late night car return and I was unavailable the next morning when the form was filled. (car return photos posted)They don't respond to calls or emails so it is nearly impossible to get hold of them. I am shocked they still have customers with this kind of scam tactics. Still awaiting the return of my deposit

The staff is trying to scam me. I have returned the undamaged car, the condition was recorded in the protocol with photos attached. A few hours after my departure, they identified “new damage” and took the deposit. No images were attached to the information. Avoid those guys. There is plenty of other car rentals at Ljubljana airport.

DO NOT USE!Picked up the car in which the individual was extremely rude. We watched him slam the door in someone's face who was disabled and just wanting to ask a question. They did not do an inspection prior to pick up.Upon drop off, they said it was 'all good' and they would refund the deposit ASAP.Later that day, I get an email from a 'Mark Turk' saying there was damage to the car. I had not signed anything and since then they are not replying to any of my emails or calls. The are huge discrepancies between the timings it was dropped off and when the report was done. I am now battling with my bank to dispute a 600euro charge.Be warned, do not use.

Pick up was easy and the staff were efficient. The car was a a bit of a disappointment. It was the right size but it was the oldest hire car I've ever had and with over 91 thousand km on the clock. The screen was basic with no way to link google maps or similar to it. The body work was badly scratched but that didn't really bother me to be honest. The rear screen washer didn't work, I later discovered. Again, not a major problem. The car performed well but in the last two days the brakes started making a terrible noise. Had I needed it any longer I would have contacted them and reported it as not fit to drive. Another reviewer has mentioned being charged for new brakes which seems outrageous. One driver can't ruin good brakes that quickly. It's down to regular maintenance. I'm hoping they don't try that with me. Returning the car was easy, the staff were very nice and I got an email clearing it later that day. So the staff were good but the car was past its best.

This is a scam! A few hours after we returned the car in the perfect condition they sent us AN EMAIL telling us that they will charge 1100 euros for new damages. There were no new damages and the only way they can be reached is through email. I suggest that even if you have reserved a car, don’t take it and go to another place.

I was charged 541.50 Euros (incl. 91.50 admin charge) for the scratch in the picture. I get the impression other car rental companies would have considered this normal tear and wear" and/or would have charged less."
