They rent rooms out to large German scouting troops of teens who just party and make the entire hostel unbearable - loud loud and you will ruin your entire trip to the Slovenian alps staying at this place as it’s just unbearable and you won’t get any sleep - really a nightmare

Overall very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. The 8 person dorm has just one bathroom, which can become unpleasant with the actual 8 people ;) we stayed just one night on transit. Price and product are in line!

It was a wonderfull stay in a central but quiet place. The Host is super friendly and helpfull. Also got some good hiking routes to share. Highly recomended.

Good=●Hostel Nika is surrounded by mountains that are beautiful to look at,●walking time to city centre is about 8-10 min.●They let me keep my bag in the kitchen during the day before checkout.●40 euro for a room seems ok.●Balcony to hang your sweaty clothes was goodNot so good =■The bed is a bit hard and so are the pillows.■The ventilation system makes noises in the room.■You can easily hear other people talk from the room next to you.■ not a very peaceful option.Maybe you are more tolerant than me though :)

Dirty, extremely loud and noisy, and they have picnic tables outside which every single night was hosting parties until 3-4 am - unbearable and the worst place I stayed in Ljubljana

There was no breakfast even dough was advertised and included in the price when we were booking. Place looks tired but it has all the basics that you need. Staff is friendly and helpful and they gave us a room with a amazing view and balcony as an free upgrade.

I stayed there for 3 nights. I was opening the closet and the closet door fell on me. The bed mattress had a brown stain and a hole in it. We shared and the bathroom smells horrible. Overpriced for what you get. The food is oily and not good for my taste. The staff doesn't know how to speak Slovenian. Would not recommend.

Extremely noisy all through the night - not a place to go to rest if you plan to do anything in the day - not possible to get a decent sleep

I had a nice enough stay - the bedroom and bathroom was clean and private. But I didn't use any of the facilities because I wasn't told about them (they were in a separate building, so I felt like that was for other guests and not me), therefore I don't feel like I got the full hostel" experience

All the facilities are very poorly maintained, on top of this we have received a different room (much lower quality and size) than the one booked. Extremely overpriced in the summer. Only positive point is the friendly staff. The wooden structure, narrow staircase and no fire alarms are definitely quite worrying...
