We recommend this fantastic hotel in Piran ! Very friendly, super service, nice and quiet room with perfect working airco. Delicious and extensive breakfast. Parking is outside the village but we were thankful for the kindly service from the hotelmanagerPatrick, Nadine and Claudine

Super friendly staff, gave us lots of recommendations. Room was very nice and the breakfast simply amazing. Would stay there again anytime!It was great to be able to store our gravel bikes in a small storage room, totally safe.

Zala PiranWe really wanted to love this hotel, so much we left our waterfront balcony room at another hotel. Great location, rooftop bar (good & bad), breakfast included, elevator and super clean and newly renovated at a high quality level.The rooms that are spectacularly appointed but only have a small window in the room and one in the bathroom. The 2 small windows are surrounded and overshadowed by ivy and you feel you are staying in an attic. This is a typical style room in the old buildings, without openness or a view. It did remain cool tho and the layout was very efficient. Nice part is laundry lines outside both windows.Room had a tv, a/c, safe but no bottled water nor fridge. Laundromat within 100m as well as markets and swimming areas.We had a room on the 3rd floor just below the stairway to the bar. Noisy to say the least. The sound of those magnificent martinis being shaken, that earth thundering blender and those partying patrons noisily coming in and out made it hard to sleep. Best part the party was over by 11pm so either suffer or join the fun.The price was consistent with other rooms in Piran. It becomes a decision about whether you want a room with a view/openness or one that is void of the outside world. As this is a beach/coastal town, you might want to choose a room elsewhere overlooking the ocean.Amazing high-end breakfast with lots of variety. Plus options for vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant however is not open for public access because of of the shortage of staff. Really unfortunate.The staff are amazing and work towards you having an exceptional rental property.There is an elevator on site however, it travels at a snail space. Still happy to have.Parking garage charge is higher than other places $15 euro / day. Other places $11 to get your receipt stamped.Rooms:34/35 - under and beside stairway to bar (try to avoid)16/26/36 - side room w 2 windows for ventilationAny room you pick however, will all be the same efficient and superb quality.

Boutique Charmer in Old townThis was a lovely last-minute find as decided to stop over in this pretty town on our way to Trieste. IT was a great option compared to the other overpriced stays in the old town.LOCATION: Excellent location in the most arterial street of the old town and just 10 minutes walk away from the train stationDINE + DRINK: Didnt try the breakfast. They do have a lobby-level bar which you can skip as there are plenty of options to drink and dine at a stone’s throw awayROOM: We stayed in Room 311, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the Church next door; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Didnt use A/C and left the window open to cool down; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Decent cosmeticsFACILITIES: No gym or pool on siteSERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout out to MARK at the front deskHOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Medium-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Medium-sized Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels - predominantly in Non-English languages!

We stayed at Hotel Zala in May 2022 for our first night in Slovenia and were immediately welcomed by Žiga who kindly recommended the main landmarks to visit while in Piran and suggested a few good restaurants. We were offered a room upgrade and could not have had a better stay! The room was impeccably clean and modern, and breakfast is heavenly (thanks to the host and chef!) Located just a few steps away from the sea, this accommodation is a MUST if staying in Piran.TIP: If arriving by car, guests can add a daily parking fee to the cost of their stay. The garage is located in the outskirts of Piran, from where a free shuttle bus (which is very frequent and runs from early morning till late at night) can transfer you to the heart of town. From there, it's just a 250m walk to the hotel.Thanks to all the team, we will definitely be back!

Rooms are tiny, there is no refigerator. Strong air conditioning, easy accessible, all the rest - perfect. Very friendly stuff, very good breakfast, fabulous location. No views, but very quiet.

Me and a friend stayed for two nights and we are so glad we chose this hotel. The location is perfect, in the town and by the sea. The staff are really good, providing lots of recommendations and great service and the breakfast was fabulous.

A nice hotel with friendly staff and delicious food.Hotel food is usually survivable, but here it’s an experience you will remember. Sadly kitchen was only open for breakfast, due covid, but still we were positively surprised and loved it.Rooms are nice. Good size too. Bathroom was stylish and clean.Reception and kitchen chef were very friendly.Everything is just a few steps away from the beachfront and a short walk from nearest stores or a free bus ride to car garage or to intercity bus lines.
