Handled rudely by two members of staff, while my son was climbing, and when trying to give constructive criticism.The way I was treated today was uncalled for and unprofessional.My six year old son decided to try climbing after eating at the restaurant. We found this place after a search on family friendly places in the area, so we figured they knew how to work with families.My son was able to climb immediately. This was a big plus. In fact, so quickly that he had already started with an instructor while I'd run to the table to get our camera.I stood nearby and watched. After a couple of minutes, it was obvious that the instructor was quite rough in his explanations and repeated the same instructions rather than say them in another way my son could understand. His English was not clear enough, so I tried to supplement. My son responded immediately to the couple of instructions I gave (he wants you to bend your knees), instead of sit down

Very good ski rental service, they find us ski instructor too, and also give ski eqipment advice. I would always recomend.

Vi tog privatlektioner för våra två små barn, 4 och 5 år. Mycket pedagogiska lektioner som leddes av Andrej. Lyssnade och samtidigt utmana barnen på rätt sätt. 5 åringen kunde ta sig ned och stanna redan efter 2 timmar lektioner och sen vågade själv. Verkligen värt pengarna. Vi hade aldrig klarat det själv, och definitivt inte så snabbt.

Family run business offering ski & snowboard rental in the winter and climbing activities in summer. We rented ski equipment for a few days and it was such good value. The ski stuff was perfect and we had no issues skiing in a variety of conditions. The family are lovely and were helpful in giving advice on the local area, would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent service, very friendly family business

The past few weekends we had the opportunity to meet the wonderful couple Andrej and Alenka Pikon at the Alpe Climbing School & Rent in Bohinj. Our eldest (4 and ½ y.o.) child had his first try at climbing with Andrej and became super enthusiastic about climbing! Andrej was a really great teacher, instructing him how and where to place his steps and grips and encouraged him to climb all the way to the top to the bell (20+ meters!). After that, we HAD TO repeat the climbing lessons, as our son just fell in love with climbing. Aa mentioned, Andrej proved to be a very professional instructor, always finding a proper way to stimulate the climber and at the same time tried to ward the climber off from distractions from below (mainly in the form of comments and usually improper comments of worried parents – believe us, we were scared to see our son climb like a spider, but he enjoyed it, so… – and rightly so)!As this was not enough, our wife and I tried the climb as well and immediately liked it! So we took more lessons and a proper climbing course with Andrej. We felt secure and in good hands, getting all the basic safety instructions and advice. Mind that Andrej has equipped most of the climbing routes in the region (described in his book, available at the school), so he has a lot of insight on the local climbing conditions and mountaineering. Also, we got great support from sociable Alenka, renting us all the required equipment and also giving us quite a few of insights on climbing afterwards.We can only recommend Alpe Climbing School and Rent to any beginner and even more proficient climbers and we all (us and the kids) shall surely return back to Andrej and Alenka soon, either for a refreshing lesson or to get some equipment or just for a pleasant chat!Many thanks and all the best,Luka, Petra, Maks and Norbert

Очень понравилось общение с хозяевами. Брали лыжи с ботинками на 6 дней, качество хорошее. Открыты для общения, помогали советами, созванивались с другими курортами, чтобы узнать снежную обстановку. Советуем.

Really amazing amazing people.We had equipment rental reservation to climb the Triglav, and we arrived there much after closing time, but they were still waiting for us, and even patiently explained how to use them.We returned the equipment the same day as we agreed and told the story that we did not need on our last day and we even got a discount.All the time they were extremely kind, listen to our story of hiking and sharing theirs.We really had good time during our interaction with them.
