Korak Winery

While the nature, view, and ambiance of this winery are absolutely stunning, our experience was negatively impacted by the overly professional attitude of our waiter/sommelier. On two occasions, she interrupted our conversation, standing next to the table and waiting to present her next slide of wine. We had come to relax and hear their story in a casual way. On the other hand, we tasted all 5 courses of wine from the same unwashed glass. Unfortunately, the plate we chose with the wines was quite modest, and nothing besides the cheese was worth the price. As a frequent visitor to wineries in Zagorje, Istria, and Slavonia, I have experienced much better hospitality and quality. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the bottle of wine in the winery was more expensive than in the free market. Overall, I would not recommend this winery for those seeking a true impression of Croatian rural hospitality.

The ambient is great, lovely atmosphere and the staff was kind. I am giving 4 stars because this is one star Micheline Restaurant. It was 4 of us for the 9 course wine tasting. So it was sparkling wine, white and red wines. That all was served from 2 glasses, not changed for every wine like usual at this level restaurants nor cleaned with water or a sip with the next wine in the glass to cleanse the aroma, also sparkling was poured in normal white wine glas. Please, educate your personell how it needs to be so next time u can get 5 stars and work toward future.I didn't wanted to make the fuss because of friends who where with me.

Sjajno obiteljsko gospodarstvo. Priprema hrane i serviranje je na visokom nivou. Vina Korak, standardno odlična. Svaka pohvala.

The best experience I've had in Croatia in my 26 years of life. Amazing views, and the best wine experience you could ask for. Even my fiancee, who isn't a wine drinker loved it!

We had 8 course menu paired with wine of Plešivica...and i am glad we made that choice because all the dishes were interesting and nicely balanced and prepared with local ingredients, but some were really special like eggplant with almond humus and dessert - caramel ice cream made with goat milk ...wines - very nice,; all that paired with magnificent view....and last but not least - the service was excellent...

Profesionalizam kakav se u Hrvatskoj rijetko viđa i kakvom trebaju težiti svi oni koji svoju zemlju žele predstaviti kao turističku. Imali smo tamo više događanja" i sva su bila vrhunski organizirana. Vina Korak su posebna priča. Čista petica."

Wine is really good, experience leaves a lot to be desired. The wines are very good. Vera was amazing, she made the experience worthwhile. Without a prior reservation, you won’t feel welcome here.

Great experience, local produce handled with loved and care, great wines tasting too. Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting Croatia and want to discover the culture of their wines and the local food.
